How come the treatment for body dysmorphia is focussed on learning

Because people have been trying to treat body dysmorphia with plastic surgery for decades and it always fails. Either the patient hates the new body part as much as the old one (eg they declare a perfectly good nosejob hopelessly botched) or they start obsessing about something else (the nosejob went well, but I just noticed my ears are hideous!)

People with gender dysphoria who transition are generally pretty happy with it. I don’t think the studies I would need to give an exact number have been done but anecdotally it definitely looks a lot different from body dysmorphia in this respect.

Because they're two different conditions with different symptoms, treatments, and causes. Just because they sound like similar conditions when grossly simplified does not mean they are the same thing.

That isn't dysmorphi, its body integrity identity disorder.

The difference is that dysmorphia is a hatred of physical features; gender dysphoria is an issue of identity not matching physical features. Similarly, some people have an identity of missing an arm for example. In science terms this probably boils down to having roots in physical/body neurology versus emotional neurology

Because we can desu. The treatment for body dysmorphia will probably change to plastic surgery and genetic therapy in 20 years because people won't actually have to settle for what they have.
