Do HSTS have a similar problem to AGPs, wherein they try to retcon "knowing" their female identity way back into early childhood as a means of hiding any hint of a gay past?
>>8731426
AGP's are fetishists.
HSTS are just hyperfeminine faggots who feel that living as a girl would be easier.
>>8731431
What happens if a HSTS knows and thinks that living as a girl, let alone a trans girl, is harder but has to do it to avoid being suicidal from dysphoria?
>>8731426
I don't know many trans people outside of here, but one that I do who is clearly HSTS seems too be wierdly proud of being gay before as sort of a comfirmation that they were always trans.
>>8731426
yes, due to gatekeeping etc
>>8731447
Is she a Blanchardian?
>>8731447
They were probably low-h
>>8731437
nonsense, everyone has self control
>AGP vs HSTS
Stop falling for unscientific spooks
>>8732177
>Nonsense
Such a Blanchardian response.
>>8732166
>low-h
What is this dumb meme?
>>8731426
I like to just say "I lived as a gay man for a while." And I did live, I dated several men as a msn and went to pride fairs and drag shows.
And I'm speaking honestly when I say at that time, I was more afraid of transitioning than I was certain of my true identity. One time after sex I cried and blubbered, "I wanna b-be a drag queen..."
I embraced the gay male identity because I understood it and it felt safe. My family and friends understood it and they were more comfortable with it, frankly. I had to explain and justify and defend so much more to them when I came out as trans.
As a kid, I just like to say I was "gender nonconforming." Plenty of cis gay males want to do girly stuff as kids. Transitioning makes me trans. I don't fret about whether my early childhood was "trans" enough.
>>8732264
>Transitioning makes me trans. I don't fret about whether my early childhood was "trans" enough.
This is true. Irrelevant AGP/HSTS qualifiers have nothing to do with being trans. Transitioning does
>>8732177
>everyone has self control
Never volunteered at the psych ward I see.
>>8732424
>HSTS and AGP are both falsetrans unless and until they transition in which case they're both trutrans?
>>8732593
The typology is only applied to those who have already transitioned.
>>8732600
wut
what bizarro blanchardianism is this?
>>8732831
The entire point of the typology was to delineate trannies. Not pre-transition trannies, full trannies.
It's not my fault you never read a word of it and rely on the regurgitated "fruits" of 4chan """knowledge""" to coast you.
>>8731426
what does hsts stand for?
>>8732899
"Homosexual transsexual" it's Blanchardian for mtfs who like men.
>>8732857
t. didn't read the MTIMB chapter on non-transitioning AGPs
>>8732967
MTIMB came thirty years after the typology was delineated. Try again.
>>8732979
>denying Lawrence's place as heir of Blanchard
>>8732994
>heir
But he's not dead yet. Or retired. Are you huffing something?
>>8732967
What chapter is it? I'm a non transitioning AGP, I wanna read this shit.
There is no such thing as AGP or HSTS. Blanchard wasn't a scientist, and none of his studies were valid.
>>8734749
>hate-facts don't count!
>>8735180
>it's esoteric ALT KNOWLEDGE GURRRL just trust me on this one :)
Troglodyte LARPer.
>>8734749
Blanchard was a scientist, just a bad one.
>>8735180
What his studies showed is that early onset transitioners tend to be GNC as children, androphilic, and experience autogynephilic arousal at a low rate while late onset transitioners tend to be GC as children, gynephilic and experience autogynephilic arousal at a high rate.
What his studies did not show is that the two types have different causes beyond them, that ETLEs exist or that AGP causes transsexuality. All of that was wild speculation and has been recognized as such.
The scientific community accepted the former (it's in the literature) and discarded the rest because there is no proof for it.
>>8735185
>You have a different opinion LMAO SO CRAZEEY MUST BE A RACIST
Look at what we have become.
>>8735200
>that ETLEs exist or that AGP causes transsexuality
i know they do from my personal experience!
>>8735232
Consider the juxtaposition of this situation: if someone with AGP told you that their personal experience is that they're actually, factually a woman inside and that ETLEs aren't real would you believe them or would you say that personal experience can't prove something like this?
You can't know this from personal experience because the whole point of the idea is that it is some brain problem people have. Personal experience can't tell you that you're erroneously locating partners inside of yourself instead of in the outside world and this is behind your abnormal gender identity.
>>8735200
also damn
>beyond->behind*
>>8731431
>HSTS are just hyperfeminine faggots who feel that living as a girl would be easier.
HSTS here.
Life won't be easier once transitioned, but I'll feel much better about myself and will be accepted in a role tat fits my personality much more and that I like much more.
>Do HSTS have a similar problem to AGPs, wherein they try to retcon "knowing" their female identity way back into early childhood as a means of hiding any hint of a gay past?
Yes, many of my friends have done it. Some of them are better at it, some of them are worse at it.
>HSTS seems too be wierdly proud of being gay before as sort of a comfirmation that they were always trans.
This happens too, it's the polar opposite.
>>8732264
This girl is mostly right. I'd like to befriend you dahling, you're one of the (not so many) honest girls of our kind... any chance we may get in contact?
I may set a temporal email account and from there we may speak or get into other means of communication.
I-if you w-want
>Also
I know of a drag queen who transitioned into a girl in her 35's after a full life identifying as a gay male.
>>8732424
>This is true. Irrelevant AGP/HSTS qualifiers have nothing to do with being trans. Transitioning does
Agreed
>>8732857
Hahaha you funny, I kill you last.
>>8735303
i'd ask her what her personal experience is because her personal experience could tell her that except it's wrong!
>>8735226
>thinks kekistanis are even racialist anymore
>>8735331
Wtf.
>>8732264
>One time after sex I cried and blubbered, "I wanna b-be a drag queen..."
Interesting point there...
>I was more afraid of transitioning than I was certain of my true identity.
Since you're being sincere, and this being an anonymous place, gonna ask you a question...
What where your reasons and motivations for transitioning, back then? What fueled your desire to transition?
I'm being honestly and legitimately curious here.
>>8735791
Part of Blanchard's theory. There is zero proof that such a thing exists.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erotic_target_location_error
>>8735820
wrong, i know from personal experience it does!
>>8735826
You can only observe the end result, not the cause, and ETLEs are a theory about the cause of the result..
>>8735820
woops i just had never heard the abbreviation
>>8735780
There was a social component, but dysphoria played a huge part. Growing hair on my face and body was traumatic for me, in a way I struggled to explain to other people. I saw my skinnyfat boy boobs as breasts.
And now that I'm on anti-androgens and estrogen, I've never felt better. Not just about my outward appearance, but my mood is improved when I'm away from the mirror. I'm far less depressed, no longer suicidal, even when I'm getting clocked and such. I believe this medicine wouldn't make me thrive as it has if my body wasn't wired to need the balance of hormones it could not produce.
Beyond that, I've always felt like a girl even when I wasn't being "girly." Even before I transitioned, I bonded with butch and andro cis girls and I was frankly confused and disappointed that I was treated like a guy for dressing like them.
>>8735331
Neat! I like using kik personally, if you've got one. But before we do that I'd like to make sure I'm HSTS enough for you since I'm bi, currently seeing another transgirl, and autistic.
>>8735847
>I'd like to make sure I'm HSTS enough for you
>since I'm bi, currently seeing another transgirl, and autistic.
>>8735936
Well I did still live as a gay man before I transitioned. Isn't that the defining HSTS trait? This is why I never can be sure where I fit in the Blanchard typology.
>>8735835
i can tell what i'm feeling!
>>8735944
meh, you're just like me. Lived like a "he's gay but he won't tell publicly" gay for many years too.
>But before we do that I'd like to make sure I'm HSTS enough for you since I'm bi
Do you think I care?
>Neat! I like using kik personally,
this is 4chan after all, so some caution is needed
[email protected]
Yes, mail.com, not gmail, different companies
See ya!!!
>>8736031
>Do you think I care?
I wasn't sure, and I figure if I was going to disappoint you, it should be before you get really invested in talking to me elsewhere.
>>8731437
HSTS are incapable of experiencing real dysphoria.
>>8737660
What's the issue with that? Social dysphoria is more legitimate and sensible than whatever the vague and undefined "gender dysphoria" that AGPs allegedly have.

yeah this, lol

You're dating your childhood friend, this is fucked up beyond belief.
