They could be misdiagnosed as trans though. According to Dr. Kenneth Zucker, the whole trans thing in autists may just be an autistic fixation on gender, not too different than how some of them fixate on a cartoon, or trucks. Misdiagnosis theories aside, the correlation between the two is very real. Which again leads me to question, is this why animu posting is so popular on /tttt/?

I decided to put that to a test. I took /lgbt/ and picked some other non-weeb boards at random. I then looked and their catalogs and simply counted the threads with animu shit in the OP. Here are my results:
/lgbt/ - 28 (girls - 26)
/pol/ - 3 (girls - 1)
/b/ - 9 (girls - 6)
/mu/ - 1 (girls - 1)
/bant/ - 23 (girls - 23, particular blue haired girl, probably a meme - 13)
/adv/ - 7 (girls 5)
/r9k/ - 21 (girls - 19)
/sci/ - 5 (girls - 5)
/soc/ - 1 (girls - 0)
/int/ - 13 (girls - 13)
So while there is overlap, /lgbt/ is in the lead, with only 2 out of 9 boards coming close, one of which possibly only due to a meme or a spam attack, not sure since I don't frequent /bant/.

Well Boards that have a reason not to have an anime OP won't have as many anime OPs where as boards where it doesn't matter will have more, as an example in /vg/ everybody knows what they're going to look for thus they will have more anime OPs because no one is looking for the thread by pictures where as /pol/ has very few generals and people mainly look for funny pics to click on +they have a horde of underage people who came for epic (xd) pepes and shitty memes who probably aren't interested in anything related to anime.
