I have "AGP" fantasies myself. I talk with a lot of people who do. Overwhelmingly those who want to transition experience gender dysphoria and are actually worried that their motivations are impure. They're just trans and AGP on top of that. They really don't fit the Blanchardian conception.

On the other hand I ran into a scant few people who do. They apparently experienced no gender dysphoria, transitioned because it aroused them and, with the exception of one, went on to be happy. Transitioning eventually makes AGP fade away (which most consider a blessing, unlike this group) but these people report being happier as women despite of that.

When I first encountered the second group I was seriously weirded out by it but figured, okay, it makes them happy and there are always weird minorities. As of recently I'm seeing more and more people like that on 4chan though. I can't tell whether they're just roleplaying or not. If they're not and the second group isn't that rare.. how do I know whether I really belong to the first group like I thought and am not tricking myself? Intellectually I have nothing against the second group but emotionally the thought of being this rather than a "normal" trans person makes me unwell.
