- Little girls are big into romantically swearing to be friends forever and having a name for their clique and all having friendship bracelets or some other talisman of deep meaning.

- Girls are VERY cruel about any kind of non-conformity, but will still keep you around as a "back-up" friend if they aren't high-tier themselves.

- My gym teachers in middle school especially liked to segregate the class, take the boys off to play real sports and leave the girls in some corner of the field with no instructions and broken or leftover equipment.

- Starting from age 12ish, men become potentially threatening (assuming you didn't run into any pedos before that) and grown men will sexually harass or follow even 7th and 8th grade girls so long as they are developed.

I'm the kind of person who's been able to fit in while growing up I just have no real interest doing so if I don't feel like it. Here's some things I noticed about growing up as a male around other males:

-Competition is important, it doesn't matter if you're good you just need to step up

-If someone gives you shit, you either give shit back or get visually upset with an emotion (anger, laughter, or confusion)

-guy's don't mind weakness but, there's a certain internal threshold of acceptance (Same with perceived strength)

-If you act weak then you get treated as such

-sex jokes are common and it's better to just ignore it if you didn't like what they said

-if you get called a name it's more of a test to gauge your reactions (at first anyways, if you failed to meet their standards it becomes the norm around them)

-guys who talk to you in the bathroom are weird

-admitting you have a weakness in a group is basically suicide (most guys won't care if you admit it one on one but, might give you shit about it later)

-usually when guys talk shit about other people behind their back it's to vent not to crucify their group standing or for an alternative motive

-group loyalty is implied and rarely is questioned or cared about
