I originally had the attitude of "do things as minimal as possible, one thing at a time". I had gotten a nose job and light FFS (jaw reduction from a doctor who didn't really know what he was doing). That was in my 20s. Always looked like a cutesy anime/Zooey wanna be. I was often getting clocked by gay guys, got smart comments and stared at by people who realized that something was a little off, but there were also a lot of people who had no idea for years until I told them. I did get SRS then and I am really happy that I dealt with that. I'm in my 30s now. I got thinn and proper FFS from Dr. Lee. Brow and a real jaw reduction. I went from being a hipster-ish girl to being a woman. It is life-saving. I deeply regret that I did not get full FFS in my early transition. What was holding me back was fear about losing sensation. Turns out it came back only two months post op. It really sucks but we do have to face up to it and admit that a lot of us need heavy FFS and other surgery. I haven't gotten a boob job yet. I'm not thrilled about the idea of having any implants in me but I realized what the tradeoffs are. Denial is not just a river in Egypt.
