You should do what makes you happy. There are times where I've wished for straight hair throughout my life as well. Despite that, all my life I've gotten compliments from cis girls saying they're jealous of my hair. In the end, I personally think it's easier to work with what you got. I think the nice thing about curly hair is how versatile you can be with it.

there is a solution actually. there is a product (its better to let a hairdresser do it) you can apply to your hair. its the almost the same proces as coloring your hair. they put a solution on your hair wich opens the your hair. they straighten you hair and let it sit for i think it was 30mins, then they close your hair again with another product. ive done it several times and it works like magic BUT just like a coloring it grows out so you have to repeat the proces each couple of months.

Ah, I see. My hair only turns out like the pic you shared if it dries in particular circumstances.
The longer my hair gets (pic related) it tends to straighten out on the top - altho this photo was taken after combing my fingers through my hair earlier.

No we didn't. Asians, especially men, have an insane amount of trouble with hair. I am Asian myself, so I have straight black hair and it is so frustrated to wake up everyday and have your hair spike up like a hedgehog. I eventually have to grow out my hair for at least 6 month or to cut it every month just to control my fucking hair style. Also desu black is boring as fuck. But why dont you bleach, dye your hair bla bla. It's impossible, to have bright color I have to bleach at least 4 to 5 times. That's extremely bad for your hair. Most color don't come out as plan anyway.

I can talk on and on about Asian hair, but thank god I made it curly.

idk. I use the wide-toothed combs to detangle. I also brush after detangling with a wet brush because it straightens the hair out a bit. If I don't brush it coils up too much.

go to your hairdresser and get it chemically straightened every few months. costs money though. or google for haircuts that'll make your curls look good, they do exist and your current cut isn't really doing you any favours. i'd try going a bit shorter at the very least (unless you're mtf and growing out your hair in which case embrace this awkward hair phase and know that it'll look better when it's longer).
