I recently looked at a school picture of mine from when I was 12 years old just today, and, even then, I had a somewhat blocky chin and sort of big nose.

Maybe HRT would've helped my height (I'm 5'9),hand size, and my torso/ribcage but even starting HRT when I was 12 years old, I still would've needed FFS.

What results did you expect to have?
The only things you could've reasonably have thought would happen would be growing boobs, reduced hair growth by a bit, some fat redistribution in your face, and some fat redistribution to your hips and butt.

I remember being 5'10 when I just turned 16.

The only things you could've saved yourself from starting hormones earlier (around 16-19 years old) is maybe a little bigger boob growth.

You would've had to start HRT at like 10 years old to get the full 100% benefits of it.
AND EVEN THEN sometimes girls still end up kind of tall.

Anyone can elevate themselves from a place of poverty to a place that is comfortably middle class doing low tech manual jobs without even a college degree.

Manual labor is always in need (especially because of elderly people since they can't do anything physical) and you are never unemployed if you own a lawnmower.

Just spending an extra 8 hours a week mowing lawns (assuming 1 hour per lawn) can land you an extra $150 a week MINIMUM between March and September. And tax free if your customers pay cash.
That extra little bit of income can really help.

Obviously it's not a career but it is definitely a good side business.
Not to mention all of the other more technical blue collar jobs people do for side money that people pay even more for. And stuff that doesn't even require a license like plumbing.

Transitioning takes a few years. The BIGGEST mistake you will ever make is looking in the mirror every few weeks and wanting changes. You probs wont even begin to hit the 'entering femboy / androgynous' zone until month 9-10 and it's not uncommon for trans people to keep presenting boymodo past year 2 of HRT. You'll need more than a year before you decide whether HRT worked.

Actually give it 3 years so at least you see how your proportions changed and how your breasts help.

Basically been on hrt 8 months. I don't think it's going to get much better for me than I already am. I'd say I probably pass 60-70% of the time but beyond that I'm not sure what anything will help. I'm always told my voice is great but I don't even know anymore. Most of it is lighting, makeup, and angles in transition timeline pics. Don't trust transition timeline pics that depict passing at 6 months unless it's a pic of staring at the camera with no makeup. There's soo many pics of people with chins down or slightly angled and it pisses me off. Transition timelines are good inspiration but the worst shit once you're actually transitioning.

And I wouldnt trust someone who says they havent changed in 1-2 years unless they are absolutely an irredeemable hon.
