>9 months hrt, self med
>boobs are feeling more painful and sensitive than normal
>boob feels swollen and weird under my nipples today
>squeeze boob
>milk shoots out
>not just drops but a lot
Is this normal for hrt? Do I have breast cancer?
Also why does milk come out like a shower head, I always thought it would come out in like a jet what the fuck

Pretty sure your hormone levels are kind of fucked up, probably because you're self-medding.
Not breast cancer though. And yes, look up lactation porn if you're curious. It doesn't come out in a jet.

All I take is 50mg cypro, 4mg progynova and progesterone
>>8569341
Just looked it up, it means you have abnormally high prolactin levels, which can be caused by taking too much estrogen orally.
It could be that the cypro is killing your balls and you should reduce E slowly.
>>8569356
Will lowering my E reduce all the other changes it brings me though?
>>8569356
Alternatively, it could mean you have developed a prolactinoma..
>>8569341
Not the anon you're responding to, but...
You are taking 50mg cypro for 8 months? Your testicles were probably already shrunken after 2 months or so. You may lower your cypro dosis to 25mg since you produce less testosterone now due to "chemical castration".
What that anon (>>8569356) said about prolactin is correct. But I would not recommend lowering your progynova dosis since 4mg is pretty standard.
>>8569365
I don't know much about the effects of cypro, because I'm on Spiro and E through a doctor.
If you weren't self medding I'd suggest you get a blood test done to make sure your estradiol levels are in the normal range for women. Abnormally high levels don't give you results faster, they just increase the risk of blood clots, breast cancer, and other fun stuff.
Hopefully another anon can provide more info.

I forgot to lower the dose so thanks for reminding me. I've just been in the habit of taking the same dose for so long that I stopped thinking about it.
>>8569373
I seriously hope this isn't the case. I'd need drugs or surgery to get rid of it right? I don't have insurance so that would be a nightmare. Or if I do have it, do I really need to have it removed? I can probably live with this if there aren't worse complications.
Should I just lower my cypro and see if it goes away?
>>8569296
Man Dva is so hot.
Unlike you filthy ugly transshit.
>>8569398
> Should I just lower my cypro and see if it goes away?
Yeah.
If that doesn't work, you might want to go to a doctor.
>>8569422
Then again prolactinoma isn't REALLY problem unless it starts to get big enough to push against your optic nerve, according to what I can find about it.
It would still freak me out tbqh
>>8569422
Yeah I guess I can dip into my savings to see a doctor if it doesn't go away.
Kind of a retarded question but is the milk in my other boob going to go away or do I need to squeeze that out too
>>8569432
Just one boob or both?
>>8569508
I mean I squeezed out the milk in one boob which relieved what I was feeling but I didn't in the other boob which still feels swollen
>>8569511
Yes express both or you could get an abcess that would need to be lanced. Just till you feel less swollen. Too much and you could just be stimulating more production.
Just out of curiosity, how long should I wait to see if this goes away before seeing a doctor about it?
>>8569428
Prolactinomas are benign but they can (very rarely) progress to malignancy if ignored for a very long period of time.
I would never risk letting something like that settle over time even over a minuscule risk of progression to carcinoma. The sooner the treatment the less risk of complications, always. Even macroprolactinomas usually never recede after treatment.
Stop destroying your body and the problem should go away.

>Self medding HRT
There's your fucking problem you idiot. Go see a doctor and sort your dosages out.
Like god damn, I can appreciate you don't want to be judged or have someone else tell you not to transition and all that, but this is like an obese person buying diet pills online. I appreciate you're trying to get healthy but all this will do is fuck things up worse.
