It kinda feel like your sense of self is crumbling, like you thought you looked good and you put countless cumulative hours of time into passing and thought today would be your day. And then people make u realize youve deluded yourself into thinking u resemble anything like a girl. And makes you remember how desperately you wish u were cis and question why youre alive anyway when u cant even succeed as ur gender.

I pass almost all the time /now/, but i have a friend who, whenever we hang out, kids point at her and laugh or say rude things/call her out as trans. Ive never had it that bad so I cant imagine what it's like

That's why hrt boymode exists. Sure, it's soulcrushing, but at least I'm not universally hated.

less than a year on HRT so I don't try to present female, but it's quite obvious I'm transitioning (that's a good thing I suppose)

I feel pretty insecure when I'm in public. Seeing a pretty girl makes it worse. Usually I'm too preoccupied with my own business to care though. My mannerisms are so graceful in private but in public my insecurity makes them awkward. That's my least favorite part.

Occasionally I'll get a comment, never anything malintentioned yet but often inappropriate.

I've learned to accept that people will be rude about anything however and it's because their life sucks. I find a lot of comfort in that, strangely.

Is passing being stealth or is it just greater than 50% think you are the gender you present at a superficial glance or interaction
