Ftm here, 3 years on T. I am deep stealth and have never had facial surgery. My bones were set when in started, but T thickened my facial/jaw muscles and moved some fat behind my eyebrows. I cannot speak for the MtFs, but I have never met a FtM who required facial surgery.

Then if you eventually get to the point simply go with the flow..

Another thing is, passing is great, but that too won't take away the fact you are trans, it won't erase your past, you can go stealth but you'll always know the truth..

Generally speaking? 24 for the vast majority. There are a few exceptions, of course, but most will have no chance by this point. The reason is that by now, the face and skeleton are about as masculine as they get (and things only get worse from there, such as male aging, MPB, etc.), and growth hormones lose effectiveness. By now, estrogen will have very little effect, and there's nothing that can be undone. The pelvis has also fused by now, so not even marginal growth is possible. Meanwhile, the shoulders and ribcage have completely finished growing. So even if the face is still okay, most people will still have very masculine bodies by this point. Finally, male body hair is now incredibly difficult to fix, as it's now very thick and coarse on the entire body.

Again, just generally speaking. Some older people have transitioned well. Just don't bet on it unless you've won the genetic lottery.

I don't know about early transition, since that can work out pretty nicely for mtf, but it seems like late transition goes amazingly well for ftm compared to mtf. The transitions I've seen are just incredibly. I'm happy for them, but boy am I jealous.
