LGBTQ+ rights in conservative countries? As a singaporean myself I feel it isn't going to happen here for at least 15-20 years.

On the brightside it will probably happen in your lifetime at least, maybe even sooner. I doubt any gay man back in 60s America ever dreamed of LGBT rights like gay marriage or laws preventing discrimination in happening the next few decades.

idk about other countries but singapore has a huge aging population and the reliance on the youth is massive but they're all just leaving the country (which i also intend to so). Singapore is stuck in 1965.

This is why we need our own state. Gay people in intolerant environments need someplace where they can go to live freely and safely. They shouldn't have to resign themselves to misery anymore.
