does fapping actually lower your testosterone levels or is it just a meme?
It actually does the opposite your body has to make up for the body fluids you ejaculate. So it will put the T production in overdrive.
This is probably a good question for /fit/.

Does sex lower testosterone? Why would masturbating?
>>8503005
Supposedly, it initially lowers it, then makes it rise in a day, and then start dropping again after 3 days.
I am very curious if wet dreams have the same effect though.
I heard it does but I don't know for sure

Why wouldn't they?
An orgasm is an orgasm.

I believe that's been mostly debunked now. But it does temporarily alter receptors in your brain for a while and increases estrogen receptors and decreases androgen receptors during the refractory period and afterward.
If you want to fap just do it, it's not actually going to do anything.

But if you're not conscious for it, and if it doesn't blast out the whole load, just enough to ease the backlog.
I remember having heard that testosterone levels go up based on expectations of sex.
I've avoided masturbating since I started HRT, mainly just because I didn't feel like it. I used to crank it like twice a day, and now I'm lucky to do it once a week, if even that.
It does feel a million times better now, though, I just have to really be in the mood. Marijuana, good music, good atmosphere, and a hot shower helps. It's unlike any kind of masturbation I was used to as a boy, far, far more sensual and less "Let's just have a quick orgasm and get over it". Sometimes I don't even get off and it still just leaves me trembling.
Good to know this isn't going to hurt my estrogen levels or anything.
>still pretending like diet or behavior is going to alter production of primary sex hormones in any significant way
Stop falling for brainlet naturalnews/mercola memes.
