It must have been special because other cultures that have never been infected by Abrahamic piss from the get-go are way more open-minded about sex and eroticism.
India, Far East, South America/Central America, Indonesia, there's plenty of not fuck given about sexual moralizing.

People have preferences, that is not a meme.
People have relative and subjective attractions which make them who they are, and which should never ever be forced or twisted by some external force or ideal, that is not a meme.
