Whats with this immensely annoying trend of people posting sideways

Fairly sure it's because some phones store picture rotation in metadata, which is then stripped by 4chan.

Yeah, if I post a picture taken on my phone it does it automatically. I have no choice in the matter.

Sometimes they can be the right way on your phone or computer but then they're rotated when you post them. Its hard to tell if you well happen sometimes I think it has to do with if your phone's titled the right way when you take it

I'm using Clover on android, it sometimes rotates pictures for me at random.

I always upload my phone-photos to Puush and then save them on my desktop and use paint or photoshop to rotate/crop/resize

It's like one extra step of effort to make your posts not retarded
