Why are you dating someone without telling them you're trans? The truth is that a lot of people don't actually mind. You see this in areas where acceptance is high. It's not like these people are being brainwashed into being fine with trans people. That doesn't work, as you've implied. The unnatural barriers erected by religion etc are just lowered. With time things will get better. Some percentage of people will never be interested in trans people but a lot will.
