I used to be a fujo. I grew out of it, and as such I tend to see fujos the same--immature and bad taste. Also IIRC many fujos tend to be bisexual etc. anyway?

Well my psychology background tells me it's immature because it represents someone who is uncomfortable with their gender and how it relates to men. When people are very young they do not have very strong concept of gender, they simply haven't matured enough to fully distinguish them. Because they do not feel comfortable with the idea of being a feminine woman and dating a masculine man they are attracted to fiction that toys around with ambiguity of masculine and femininity.

This initial state of ambiguity is natural. Think boy bands that have men with effeminate hair and soft faces being popular with girls of a certain age.

I am not saying immaturity necessarily causes Fujoshi but that it is associated with it.

Same, in the bedroom at least. My husband is just naturally more dominant than I am and it helps balance our relationship out. All that this fetishized stuff really does is make it more hot for us in bed.
