Previous generations basically didn't know shit about trannies in their youth besides jokes on tv or maybe encountering the odd hon if they lived in large population centers. Some developed hostile feelings due to experiences like their gf of three months suddenly popping a boner they didn't tell them about but in general the average person didn't even have trannies cross their mind

Modern teens and young adults turned gender into a fashion statement, and are shamed and chastised by their peers online if they fail to worship at the altar of trannydom

The generation of young people right now are on a macro scale more tolerant of social deviancy than previous generations, something I feel was catalyzed by the greater acceptance of LGB people in society. And, it's likely that successive generations will be more broadly tolerant than the ones before them, too.
