yeah if I was in your place knowing what i know now i would try to find someone else that is specialized in trans stuff. maybe ask the therapist if she has given hrt letters before, knows doctors to send you to, etc.

I got gateheld by my first therapist who for like 5 months. She had on her add that she could help with trans stuff but she also listed like almost 100 other things and when i talked to her the only person she knew who was similar to me was a asain coworker she knew who liked to dress as a girl but wasnt trans.

I was a babytrans and didnt know what I was doing, my therapist would never bring up the trans stuff untill I would have a breakdown about it and I would always mention hrt when I did and after all those months she couldnt write me a letter for hrt and just googled a trans specalist and sent me there.
Then I had to wait another 2 months before my next therapist would write me a letter, except that my mom talked to her and pressured her into making me wait another 2 months.
i hate therapists i wish i just did informed consent but I had no one who could drive me to a place that did it.

If you get rid of all the garbage that happened to me if I just went to the first therapist I could have been on hrt in 2 months.
