I do think Meltzer is a good, even great surgeon, but the fact he took my insurance was also a huge factor. Plus Suporn is retiring sooner than I could have saved the money for. And, I was unfortunately circumcised. It did influence my decision to not go Thai.

I guess in terms of my results, I could mention I have a little more depth than I had penile length, I'm healing quickly and well and have almost full sensation back already somehow. I've kind of always healed like Wolverine, though. It's a little too early to discuss aesthetics, seeing as I was cut up mere days ago, but looking at the big picture and considering I have a labiaplasty scheduled this year I'm confident I'll have a good result.

I think I was a pretty good candidate for surgery, I'm young and skinny and had a job that kept me at least a little fit. I also genuinely like Meltzer, he has a brisk but endearing bedside manner and he seemed to genuinely care about my recovery.

p.s. sorry for the late reply, and the rambling post. I have percocet and I'm obviously not afraid to use them. Why did I write an essay about my ladybits? Am I really going to post this?

No problem, although I feel I should mention that Meltzer really is a two step surgeon. I was okay with this, I think it does make sense to let the vagina heal and then craft the more delicate parts that might not heal well under the rigors of frequent dilation. But if the extra cost and recovery time are factors, just be aware that the labiaplasty is important for a good aesthetic result.

I think it has something to do with the technique desu, I know suporn removes the hairs by scraping the follicles out during surgery but US surgeons require it or at the very least highly recommend it to prevent hair from growing in the cavity

Afaik all surgeons do this, some are just better at it than others. The real problem, according to the US docs anyway, is that some hairs will be dormant at the time of surgery and therefore almost impossible to kill/remove at the time of the procedure.

I'm pretty sure the Thai drs, and iirc Brassard, hate electrolysis because it can affect the stretchiness of the skin and leave micro scar tissue if done improperly. But that subsides after a while so the best of both worlds imo would be to get genital electrolysis, but finish well before surgery. The only problem with that is it can take over a year to complete. You'd then have to take maybe a year for the skin to heal.

But don't do anything your surgeon doesn't want you to do, either. They should know their technique and patients best.
