That sounds good. I usually refrain from watching movies/shows based on novels because in most cases they just take a couple of aspects of it and then do whatever they want. Most of the audience will almost always be straight people, so they kinda have to make it very obvious that a character is gay for them to get it, especially if it's relevant to the plot.
