I did a social experiment with Tinder.

I made a tinder account marked as "male" with my girl name, female-passing pictures and seeking women. I only get about 1-2 matches out of 100 on average, and then those matches are hopeless, don't respond to me.

I'm sure it's not because I'm ugly, because when I switch roles (female account seeking men) almost every man I swipe right is a match.

When I came out as trans when I was in high school, I never got that stereotypical warm welcome from girls. They weren't targeting me as a "gay best friend" or being all like "omg we need to teach you makeup and bring you shopping with us you're one of the girls now teehee!!!! :)" Boys were much friendlier to me for some reason, despite the stereotype of boys always bullying trans girls. So most of the people I talked to were boys, which did no favors for developing feminine mannerisms.

nowadays I have no friends, and being attracted to my incredibly cute body relieves that loneliness.
