You have to do it less and less the longer you do it.
In areas I have epilated or waxed for the past 4-5 years I usually epilate them every 2-3 months now and the hair grows back pretty patchy and mostly unnoticeable until it's fairly long.

I use the emjoi emagine 72-tweezer one. But I've been thinking of switching to either a braun one or a phillips one. I don't like the double rotating drums on the emjoi one, I find it kind of useless and it's really loud. A single drum one is easier to navigate curves on your body as well.
