Honest opinions please,
I'm a fairly good looking male and I can't decide if it's worth trying to make the transition to female, I feel like it would be a waste to throw away what I have now to be a female that ultimately won't pass. Should I just stay as I am now and dress up in private to feel girly?

It's hard because being the Chad is clearly better, there are practically no downsides, only positives in life. Why would anyone turn down a free $100,000,000 dollars and a lambo for an old rusted picked up truck? Most people would laugh if you offered them this deal.
It defies logic. The thing is OP really wants that rusted old truck, but she feels it would be wrong or stupid to waste such an opportunity that was given to her.
