I saw my Endrinocologist today.

She couldn't answer the question I had for her.

>Can I take Raloxifene with Cyproterone?

I see everyone mentioning to take it with Bica, but no one says anything about Raloxifene with Cypro or Spiro.
>>
>>8375602
I couldn't see any reason why not.
>>
>>8375602
Cypro has a progestin effect and kills your dick? why would you take it if you dont want to go full tranny?
>>
>>8375614
Well not that person but you don't really need your dick if you just always bottom lol

>>8375612
I don't know why not either, but there's probably a reason for "Why for" right? It's only ever mentioned with Bica and I don't know why.

>>8375614
>Progestin effect
Isn't this also good for males?
>Kills your dick
I'm fine with this and very much desire it.

>>8375617
>don't really need your dick if you just always bottom

Accurate.

I'm an aspiring femboy, and you could scream and ree' that I'm Trans if you want, but I want full feminization but I really don't want breasts.
If I wind up with breasts and look like a hon, there's no real going back from that everyday shame.
If I don't have breasts and eventually do go full trans mode, at least I can just switch from Raloxifene to Estrofem and grow breasts, but my feminization would've been a thing at least.

But again I don't know if you can take Raloxifene with Cyproterone.

I'm on Cypro+Estrofem+Dutasteride right now, but I'm developing Tanner Stage 2 and I want off this before it turns into boobs.
>>
>>8375644
>It's only ever mentioned with Bica
Because it's mainly used by femboys who want to maintain dick function..

> at least I can just switch from Raloxifene to Estrofem and grow breasts
Maybe, maybe not, will you be fine if you can never grow your own later though if ralox takes away all your chances?
>>
>>8375644
It shouldn't have any negative reactions with cypro, it should be just fine. Ralox is sometimes also combined with estradiol in many studies, but it should be okay on its own for the most part, but if you notice things like brain fog it's best to add small dosages of estradiol.
But as >>8375652 said I think the main concern is it's not really known whether you'd be able to grow breasts perfectly fine after long usage of ralox.
>>
>>8375652
>Maybe, maybe not, will you be fine if you can never grow your own later though if ralox takes away all your chances?

Yes. I've never liked breasts, and even when I look inside myself and question if I'm Trans, I still come to not wanting breasts. From the hassle, to the aesthetic, to the very idea. My Endrino doesn't seem capable of understanding this though.

Because of how "it isn't very well documented", she "Doesn't feel comfortable using me as an experiment"

>>8375662
>Combined with Estradiol
This is another major question I have, but it seems she's incapable of answering these (And she's an Endrino...)
Because I am retarded; How much is 60mg of Raloxifene, to the equivalent of in regards to Estradiol doses? (Estrofem or Otherwise)

i.e, 60mg of Raloxifene = 2mg of Estradiol? Or... ... !?

Just so I can get an understanding of what doses I should be on.

Last time I took Estradiol with Raloxifene I had a pretty nasty side effect, but I think it was because of the Progynova itself, not so much the mixing of Ralox+Estrogen because I've heard this numerous times before.

I've asked numerous times in this general but never received an answer, perhaps I was simply wording it wrong, but now I have my answer regarding Raloxifene. (I was unsure if it 'dumped' estrogen or just redirected existing estrogen; The answer is it dumps its own as well if it's safe to take with cypro alone)

And I can't thank youse enough for answering this. My Endrino was my last choice because each time I asked this stuff I was ignored, and now I've been answered where in a "Specialist" could not even give me an answer because of whatever reasons. (Moral?)
>>
>>8375676
Thing with SERMS is their dosage can't be compared to estradiol except at equivalent dosages on a per organ basis.
The reason some studies added estradiol in combination with tamoxifen is to assist in boosting estrogen receptor activity in organs other than the bone, which tamoxifene targets exceptionally well compared to estradiol. Nearly every SERM has amazing activity that's at or beyond estradiols which is why they're used for osteoporosis. At other organs it can be somewhat random.
Tamoxifen has an equal affinity to ER's as estradiol in the breast but over a 300% affinity compared to estradiol at the bone, and it's over 1.5x as active on bones as well.

But this article might help a bit:
https://breast-cancer-research.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/bcr3233
They were using around 20mg/day in combination with HRT and saw reductions in breast cancer risk. So you could perhaps start there.
>>
>>8375693
Do you think 50mg of Cyproterone and 60mg of Raloxifene is good?
I mean it's what I was using back when I was taking Bica and I didn't notice anything horrible at all.

I never experienced a 'brain fog' in the slightest, but I really am looking to maximize feminization at this point due to I'm 24, turning 25 now.

>Using 20mg/day in combination with HRT
Thing is that's breast cancer articles right? Feminization is the goal since I don't have breast cancer, also I still have my balls so unsure if that makes a difference.

Also being on 'HRT' makes me question *What were they on*?
Also Tamoxifen is 20mg, but I'm familiar with Raloxifene and unsure if I can get Tamoxifen here anyway.

I was thinking/hoping--
50mg Cypro (May need to split, will find out with next blood tests)
60mg Raloxifene
0.5 Dutasteride
And then if I get problems (Brain fog, apparently? Anything else?), 2mg of Estrofem.
>>
>>8375717
>Taloxifen is 20mg

I mean, when I look around for Tamoxifen the highest I see is 20mg. Yet Raloxifene is 60mg as its natural dose.
Is Raloxifene stronger because of it being a higher dose? Or what
>>
>>8375717
They add estradiol because serms don't target all your organs the same. If it has low activity in certain spots of your brain it can cause issues.
Also currently tamoxifen and raloxifene have been linked to early death in menopausal women so they use hrt in conjunction with serms in order to try and reduce dosages required.
>>8375724
They have different receptor activity thus different dosages.
I'm not sure what the full process is in how they chose dosages. All that info tends to come from early animal testing and such and it's probably not publicly published.

>Early death in menopausal women so they use hrt in conjunction with serms in order to try and reduce dosages

Oh, shit. OK that makes a lot more sense.

I just really don't know what's wise because if you mix SERM and Estrogen's, you're going to gamble 'which wins' and breast development can occur if Estradiol is 'winning' since the Raloxifene isn't binding strong enough, I'm guessing in such a case you'd need to lower the Estradiol and up the Raloxifene.

With that in mind I'm going to now be guessing 2mg Estrofem and 30mg Raloxifene. I know Estrofem can go as high as 6mg but I'm not looking for boobs so it's probably best Estrofem be kept on the lower end anyway.

Also I'd like to state that I'm an Anon from last thread regarding hair loss issues. It's always been said around here and Trans-forums about how hair loss is a thing on HRT because you're ejecting bad hairs and fresh ones regrow.

The endocrinologist said this is not a very common thing at all and is unusual so she doesn't think my hair loss is due to HRT because it's a very rare thing.

Is my Endo retarded?
>>
is 100mg spiro and 2mg progy low dose?
>>
>>8375816
Good starter. Move up to 4mg in a month if you want.
If desperate, 6mg another but you should probably check your hormonal levels before moving to 6mg.

Don't move off 100mg spiro until a blood test, and even then you'll just go to 150mg if your T is a little high.
>>
>>8375830
its been a month, not sure if it was best to wait until I can get a blood test to see what to up and by how much

>>
>>8375836
You're certainly welcome to bump it up. 2mg is low, 4mg is average, 6mg is higher.
You wont go over any limits on 4mg unless you have high estrogen count as is (and if you have balls it's unlikely)

>>8375838
Yes.
>>
Is there a problem with only taking small doses of estrogen I'm currently on 2mg per day of progynova was previously on 1mg and last month when I saw endo she increased it to current 2 mg but I won't see her again until october. :/

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but is the difference between psychologists, therapists, counselors, etc, large enough that I should be looking for one over the other? Is one more likely to try to "cure" me? Which one is my best bet for getting on hormones? I'm so confused

>>8376138
The most common route is just going to a General Practicioner (Your common doctor) and ask for a referral to a Psychologist, where you then might further be referred to a specialized gender psychologist if your country has one.
At that point you go through a lengthy process of them basically trying to magnify you and see what issue you have; If it's gender dysphoria or otherwise.

Counsellers usually help with minor stuff, like a therapist.
And a therapist tries to help you in solving your problems (like anxiety)

Where as psychology will address your issue, identify it, label it-- And thus, title you "Gender Dysphoric" and then you can get started on medications.

The process is lengthy, depending on where you are it can be usually 6 months. Your best bet is to self medicate and try chase down a psychologist and get diagnosed, because every day you aren't taking a hormone pill, that's everyday you're going to hate yourself more and more for not taking steps to becoming what you want.
And when you get to the end of the psychologist review (6 months usually), they can just say you have a different problem, and that can shatter you.

I was told I had Sociophobia when I was 16, and it was left at that, I convinced myself I'll always be male. Now I'm 24 and finally coming to terms I have gender dysphoria, and now I hate myself for not pursuing it when I hit 18 again because at that age is when most countries let you take HRT without a fancy card to wave around saying you're allowed to take them (You're recognized as an adult so you get to do whatever you want)

Don't leave it Anon, get on it ASAP. Self medicate for now, and seek out a Psychologist at the same time-- When you get diagnosed as having gender dysphoria (or whatever issue you have), then the difference just becomes that you're no longer ordering the medications online but getting them locally which is a burden off your mind since you'll have them in your hands there and then.

So question, my gf has been talking about potentially being interested in taking SARMs but I really want to make sure she has all the information/resources on it possible just so she can really know whether or not they're right for her, as I don't want her to end up making a mistake. Does anyone here have info regarding SARMs? Anytime we tried to google it we just got a bunch of websites for dudebros trying to get swole.

>>
>>8376763
I've been gorging myself on bananas and peanut butter and anything high in potassium in the hopes that it would raise my potassium levels high enough that my doc would stop prescribing me spiro and switch me to bica, but after a month of this (and 100mg spiro) it only raised my potassium level 2%, still well within safe range. Time to give up and accept defeat, I guess.
>>
>>8376783
The guide in the OP is only AMAB people trying to be more feminine and doesn't contain any info on SARMs. My gf is AFAB and trying to be a bit more masculine/muscular.
>>
About raloxifene, how are you supposed to take it?

I'm planning on taking spiro+ralo

Will this feminize my body or will I need to take estrogen as well? I don't want to grow boobs before I finish college and get my own house. I'm only 20 and don't want to start transitioning at 24, I want to star as soon as possible

Later on when I drop ralo, is it known if it prevents breast growth permanently?
>>
>>8376786
I'm not talking about the OP, I'm talking about people actually discussing ralo and talo
>>

Where do you buy yours? I like the prozis brand.

I buy the cheapest peanut butter I can find because thats how I survived when I was homeless. Anything over 11cents/oz is too expensive and I refuse to buy(even though I can very easily afford it now.) Also I have this compulsion where I save all of my empty peanut butter jars, so that if times get tough I can scrape them out with a spatula for the last bit of peanut butter, and then use the emptyjars for some doomsday-scenario storage system. When my roommate found my stash of empty jars last week she made me throw them out and we filled 2 1/2 trash bags full from the last 6 months of peanut butter :[

Even at a standard dosage of tamoxifen or ralox it's like sending 15-20mg of E to your bones a day. In studies they use really low dosages of estradiol, like 0.5mg or less. I think they tend to use premarin because it's easier to get lower dosages.
SERMs for sure are going to cause instant bone fusing since it's basically like megadosing E on your bones. I have no idea what it would do at other organs. It tends to have pretty sporadic binding in the brain but pretty high binding on blood vessels compared to E hence the toxicity of it.
But yes it's a gamble at your breasts but the thing with SERMs is they're for cancer. The meds themselves have some toxicity issues but you either die by the meds or die by cancer.

Your doctor would be correct that what you're doing is pretty experimental though. We do know some of the effects of extremely high estrogen on younger people though. It effectively fuses bones and stops any further growth.
>>
>>8377532
>It's like sending 15-50mg of E into your bones a day
This is pretty drastic indeed.

>SERM's for sure are going to cause instant bone fusing--
>In younger people though
>... It effectively fuses bones and stops any further growth

So basically you'd get complications if you took SERM's before age 25? (When your bones stop developing. Or was it 18 that bones stop then?)
>>
>>8377532
You're the first person I've ever seen mention this. That's terrible. So the choice is between stopping breast growth or having hip growth?

HRT is so complicated, there's never a silver bullet...
>>
>>8378549
I believe the final stages of bone fusion happens in late 20's for the most part. The bulk should be done by mid-20's.
Females bones fuse earlier since estrogen causes bone fusion.
Here's kind of an example of drastic estrogen therapy to purposefully fuse bones:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashley_Treatment

You would expect pretty similar from most SERMs. Even phytoestrogens target bones at like 120-150% the binding affinity compared to estradiol and most have transcriptase activities around equivalent to up to 2x as high as estradiol.
Tamoxifen has 350% binding affinity and around 150-200% activity compared to estradiol at bones.
But the thing is you're not gauging dosage based on skeletal activity, you're basing it off breast activity. Typically ralox and tamoxifen have close to the same binding affinity as estradiol, and of course very low transcriptase activity (hence their antiestrogenic activity at the breast level)

I'm on bica, progesterone, estrogen and fin for over a month now (cypro and bica without progesterone the month before), everything is going well, I also judge by my body odor for when hormones are failing btw, and the last month it's been a weak feminine smell only.
The male odor only returned when I tried to switch cypro to bica instantly, didn't work so I went back on cypro the 3rd day and kept overlapping bica+cypro for a month before cutting cypro completely (and starting progesterone in it's place).

For using Prometrium rectally do just stick it up there and leave it?
>>

Pretty much, can also squeeze the sphincter a few times to make sure it gets deeper, laying on your left is common with suppositories but I don't always do it, and of course don't poop right after.
I usually take them when going to bed anyway.

Tell me about Bicalutamide. What will it do to me?
I turned 23 recently. I'm not trans. I never want to be sterile. I like being strong. Fat redistribution doesn't sound bad.
I just crave girly soft skin with no body hair. If it makes me MUCH more feminine that's a-okay.
>>
>>8381209
Bicalutamide will give you what you want. It will eliminate body hair (After 6 months to 2 years) and give you softer skin.

With no estrogen or raloxifene it'll end there though.

Can't find a lot of info on Raloxifene
>Raloxifene is not recommended for use in men
Does it make mtf sterile?

There was some scary stuff on wikipedia about Bicalutamide but it was on this ridiculous trial of 150mg/day instead of 25mg.
>>
>>8381402
Raloxifene you wont find 'scientific' information outside of breast cancer
Bica is the same, but prostate cancer.

See this thread about bone fusion with raloxifene and stuff so be careful.

I don't remember which, but Bica might only make you temporarily sterile so you just stop it for a month to get semen back. Unless I mistake for a different med.

Considering what you want it's probably best to just stick with 25mg of Bica. Going any higher will eliminate your T and you wont have a good lifespan without many issues if you don't counter that with E as well.
>>
>>8374977
can someone explain how important it is to get your blood tested for self medding
>>
>>8381529
Well considering if you aren't getting enough E, your bones can slowly fade through osteoporosis. And pills can cause liver damage which can easily kill you or majorly fuck you up if it's serious. Even if you can only do tests every 6 months it's better than not at all.

medroxyprogesterone-acetate (Depo-Provera) shots once a month at the standard 150mg/shot should kill your T.

What's the most accurate way to get a proper reading?

I heard you shouldn't eat 8 hours before the blood test. But I have the test at like 10AM, but I always take my medications at 6AM and them being 'fresh' in my system could throw things off.

Should I take my medications at 2AM as well?

You can get anxiety from HRT in general even with Doctor backing. It's a big step.

Yes, of course. Don't ask rhetoricals.

Depends on the person. Some wind up living happy lives because the very essence of popping a pill is a cure to their dysphoria. For people like me, until I can pass (Never), it will never be fixed.

In most countries only if you order 3+ Months supply worth, it can be considered drug smuggling.

My boobs are shrinking D:

Three weeks ago I was starting to get nice hand-fulls, now my chest is practically flat >:(

I know that this is probably normal and things fluctuate. But I also know I should probably get on a different kind of estrogen that makes boob growth better, but I'm not seeing my doctor for a while (I have a legit prescription). Is there anything I can do in the meantime to help them out?

*****ESTROFEM PROBLEMS PLS HALP****

DO YOU GET YOUR LEVELS CHECKED RIGHT AFTER TAKING YOUR DOSE? OR DO YOU WAIT TO TAKE YOUR SECOND 12 HOUR DOSE AFTER YOU GET YOUR BLOOD DRAWN?

for example if i take my estrofem tonight at midnight and i plan on having my blood tested at around noon the next day would i take my noon dosage that day for the blood test....or would i wait until after the test since taking my dosage right before the draw could spike the levels super hard and give inaccurate results.

Here we go:
My doc (not an endocrinologist) told me to just take it normally
One anon here said to take it orally (swallow) the morning of the blood test.
I personally found data on serum estradiol after subligual administration and extrapolated.

Pic related is blood concentrations vs time after sublingual administration. Blue line is a 6 mg dose all at once, red line is three 2 mg doses spread at 8 hours apart. Note that the 3 dose line has 3 spikes, so a 2 dose routine would give two spikes 12 hours apart. The average blood serum level will be approximately equal to the level 3 hours after administration. Therefore you should aim to take it 3 hours before your blood is drawn. Since I get mine taken at the end of ~1 hour long appointments, I take it 2 hours before my appointment.

Does this make sense? Any comments, criticisms, or questions?
>>
>>8389176
hmm...so three hours before getting tested. I can't really argue with this. What does your doctor and or endo say when they see your levels?

Do they ask anything about your dosage regimen? Also do you take 6mg or 4? I feel like 6 is too much but the again i'm still on the 2mg dose and need the bump up

I've heard of the memery of Spiro making you crave salts, and thus the pickle juice meme.

Is this a specific effect from Spiro in itself? Or simply a blocking of AA or Estrogenic?

Salt was okay but I used to only eat a handful of salted crisps, now I buy some every other day because I have more enjoyment out of them, but don't crave them.

I'm on Cypro and Estrofem though.

I think it just has to do with the diarrhetic affects of spiro. You lose electrolytes in urine, and thus can crave salt. I've not noticed a huge increasing in salt cravings personally.

hey /lgbt/ I'm on hrt for 1.5 months, and I feel my nipples getting stiffer i also feel a lump in them. One you can definitely feel the other just slightly. They also became very sensitive. There are no signs on the outside, and I don't feel any pain at all.
Is there a chance I'm developing breast cancer, or is this normal and part of hrt? Should I see a doc?

I got that aftr like a week of pueraria mirifica 500mg 1-2x a day,
I'm going to stop now because I realized I really don't want gyno. I already ordered tamoxifen.
I don't know if the estrogen alleviated my dysphoria, or if I simply realzied I'm not trans after all, or if I'm actually schizophrenic cuz I read estrogen helps schizophrenia. Regardless I'm a lot more comfortable being a man since I started taking the PM so it's hard to stop but I don't want gyno so I will force myself to stop taking it and see how I feel on the tamoxifen and maybe see if I can combine both.
The OP image says it can be combined but it's unclear to me how a SERM + exogenous estrogen interact,
I read some things about SERMs being bad for skin and hair, for example women getting MPB and acne on SERMs for breast cancer,
But it's recommended for femboys to take SERMs? Won't they cancel each other out?

So im starting my HRT journey today. Got a bunch of prio and progynova to begin with. Monies abit tight atm so my plan is to take 100mg of spiro a day for three months and 2mg of progy for 2 months then move onto 4mg.

Im going to be moving onto bica after three months when I cana fford it.

Now my question is about the spiro. I understand that it has quite the short half life and is better being split over a day. Will I be fine to begin with just taking the whole 100mg after dinner or will it effectively be useless unless I split it down to two 50's over the day?
>>
>>8390441
Get spiro off QHI £12 for 28 pills, or get Cypro which is £50 for 56, split the cypro into 1/4 for 224 doses

>>
>>8391475
Split the dosage, 50mg morning 50 around 12 hours after first dosage.Your levels won't be consistent with 100mg in the morning/dinner.
Don't take the second dosage too near nighttime or you'll wake up needing a wee and being hugely dehydrated

But yes I have used sugar wax and epilators at home all the time. I prefer the sugar wax but it's a hassle to make and is messy so I usually epilate. Epilators are easier to use for stuff like butt hair cause it's tough to spread wax there on your own. For legs though sugar wax is better but I use my epilator for maintenance
>>
>>8391591
yes it can take a year for it to work because of the hair follicle growth cycles.

>>8389421
They should have different neural pathways and not strain your liver also.
You should be safe taking them. I started my old SNRI yesterday actually (From before I was on HRT) and everything seemed in place in terms of usual side effects.

It's most likely just fine but generally speaking buying prepackaged stuff like that won't be very effective. Phytoestrogens from herbs do have biological effects. They use them in cancer studies and menopause studies all the time. Typically they're extractions or are synthesized from scratch.

It's possible to get phytoestrogens up to levels high enough to easily cap out ERb and ERa receptor response (which would be equivalent to a high dosage of estradiol), it's been done in numerous studies on prostate cancer and a few for breast cancer, BUT I wouldn't recommend you do it if you don't know what you're doing.
If you've taken a fair bit of chemistry and biochemistry it's nothing ludicrously difficult to do, mostly just scouring journal articles and you obviously need to know the exact chemicals you want and how to look up that info, but it's way too much information to type up here.

You're most likely going to be disappointed in the results if you're just stumbling through the dark here. I would suggest sticking to normal self-medding techniques and order estradiol and an AA.

anyone know if it would be safe to take bica on its own for like 2 months? Would it render me infertile?
>>
>>8395113
For 2 months probably not.
Bica can keep fertility for quite a long time assuming you don't take estrogen as well.
Not sure of the 'quality' of sperm after though. Sometimes stuff like sperm mobility takes a hit. But I wouldn't worry too much if it's only a few months.
>>

I'm paranoid that cypro will raise my t levels instead of lowering them. Is there any way to know if it's going up or down without having to wait a month for bloods?
>>
>>8395649
lolwat how would it even raise T? That would be unheard of.
>>
>>8395653
Really? When I was researching it a couple of hons on agp'splace said that it had happened to them...

Is there not even a temporary flare for the first week or something?
>>
>>8395664
Well, theoretically there is a chance I suppose but it's irrelevant.
Cypro, just like bica, competitively binds to androgen receptors but has low activity. So just like bica it can bump up T, maybe, but ultimately due to the way cypro works it's irrelevant anyway.
But cypro also directly inhibits enzymes within your leydig cells themselves interrupting sperm production and testosterone production so if there's an increase it won't last long.
>>
Is starting out on 50 mg cypro and 4 mg estrofem (2mg in the morning 2 mg at night sublingually) and then moving down to 25 mg cypro after a week a good idea?
>>
>>8395672
A week probably isn't enough time to cause enough atrophy to warrant a decrease. But maybe it's possible if you get blood tested and try it.
>>
>>8395670
Hmm, alright thanks.
Is there any way to know if cypro is doing its job or not apart from morning elections or lack thereof?

>>8395673

>>
>>8395675
*erections, damn auto correct
>>
>>8395675
A lot of the effects will be long term things like your semen turning clear, runny, etc. You'll stop having full erections most likely and at best get half hard. Really depends on the person though. If you're on E you shouldn't have much to worry about with your T levels.
>>8395679
In my opinion you should base the dosage length off the turnover rate of testicular cells since cypro causes atrophy and apoptosis of those specific cells.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2589905
>Taking into account the 95% confidence interval, the turnover time of Leydig cells ranged from 142 to 2823 days. The calculated turnover time for the peritubular cells was 85 to 257 days.
I probably wouldn't do 2823 days lol, but I'd say aim for around 150-200ish days.
>>
>>8395692
Once again thanks for the reply.
If I shouldn't be worrying about t levels, why would I want atrophy?

Also I only ordered 56 pills off qhi ;- ;
>>
>>8395700
Atrophy will lower your test levels. Cypro is the only AA that actually has inhibitory action within your testicles.
Spiro is entirely adrenal glands based with zero effect on testes, and bica just occupies receptors. Cypro is predominantly a 3B-HSD and 17B-HSD inhibitor so it's main source of actions are in the testes.

Cypro actually has inhibitory action on specific enzymes within your leydig cells and seminiferous tubules as well. It should actually speed up the cell turnover I mentioned in >>8395692. But you'd need blood tests to be sure you could change dosages.
It's not a meme that cypro nukes your testes. It's the only AA that inhibits a ton of enzymes there, technically it's the only AA that does.
>>
>>8395715
Alright.
Is switching dose without blood tests dangerous? What if I started on 25mg?
I'm 18 and started puberty late if that's relevant, perhaps I wouldn't need 50mg?
>>
>>8395726
Without tests cypro is very dangerous at higher levels, start with 12.5 mgor 25mg imo, You can always take spiro to help it along
>>

Worst case scenario your T levels will be higher than female range for a little bit of time. If you didn't order enough cypro go with the lower dosage. Your dosage of E will help lower T a bit as well. It's not an ideal situation but should your T levels be slightly too high it's not the end of the world.
You shouldn't even take 50mg to start with if you're only doing a week of it, it's completely pointless. Do 25mg and you should be fine. You'll inevitably end up lowering your T so it's hardly a big deal.
>>
I'm at 3 months now. Just started again.
I did 1 year before but stopped.
Is my boob growth fucked? Did it fuse/harden/registered as completely grown/whatever after I stopped my old HRT?
>>
>>8395755
There's no such thing as breast fusion that's just 4chan memes.
>>
>>8395760

>>8395735
>>8395744
Not the person you replied to, but I'm going to switch to Cypro soon too. Is it a bad idea to start at 50mg, then lower it to 25mg after? Should I just do 25mg from the start?
>>
>>8395675
Your body odor can be a first sign based on personal experience, when I switched cypro to bica and tried to do so without overlapping I got distinctive male body odor after a few days, starting back up cypro cleared it after 2 days again so I guess it didn't raise that much before the odor changed..
That may not be a good indicator until you've had female body odor for a while though, as it's much more noticeable going back to male.
>>
>>8395795
Generally speaking yes your boobs should continue to grow.
If you're switching to cypro and you're getting liver and hormone tests then you could start at 50mg. The other anon raised a pretty good point about the liver issues with cypro so I would agree you should get tested if you're doing higher dosages. I've heard of people having bad reactions to it. Otherwise start at lower dosages.
It's better to be low T with high E than to kill your liver.
>>
>>8395811
Anon you replied to firstly here

I had blood tests done by my GP a couple of weeks ago and my liver, cholesterol etc is as healthy as can be. I should've asked for specifics on hormones but as the NHS and GP appointments are a bit cancerous I was rushed through the whole thing and didn't get the chance to.
>>
>>8395836
You should still try to get tested shortly after starting to make sure it didn't harm your liver.

>>
>>8395982
If your T levels are below female range it's sometimes a symptom.
Also I've heard for people that have mpb they sometimes go through a shedding period before regrowth

>Too high of estrogen
Considering the posts here >>8377532

Does this mean the very intake of Raloxifene (60mg) would cause hair loss? 15~20mg is a fair amount.

I'm thinking of switching to Raloxifene because I'm growing boobs and I really don't want boobs. I don't have the money for such surgeries either.
If I begin taking Raloxifene and it just dumps 15~20mg of estrogen into you though, that sounds like it could just cause hair loss again.

Anyone else taking estrofem? i posted earlier in this thread >>8389127

this person helped>>8389176

However i think taking it 3 hours before getting tested fucked up my results a bit...

My testosterone was literally only 6ng/gls and my estrogen levels were 181 pg/mls after only 28 days on estrofem on just a 2mg dose and cypro on a 50 mg dose. Is this normal???

Based on these results i shouldn't even move up to the normal dosage of 4mgestrofem....which is weird considering the 2mg i am on is a half dosage....

What the fuck do i do? according to the test my levels are normal on a half dosage but i feel like it's skewed considering i took the advice of an anon and took my meds 3 hours before the test. I don't feel incredibly different from when i started hrt desu...although my tits are noticeably bigger.

Somebody on estrofem please help. PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
>>
>>8396098
SERMs don't have the same activity throughout your body, hence the name "selective"
>>
>>8397731
What exactly are you expecting to "feel different"
If your breasts are growing then you are obviously getting some effect, and if your T is so low it surely isn't still fucking you up, so relax, you have time to figure this out. You're taking 1mg twice a day or what?
>>
>>8397832
2mg pill split in half twice a day yes...but the problem is this is a half dosage but according to my level results (i took hrt three hours before getting levels checked) my e and t levels are in the female range...
>>
>>8397836
Why are you convinced your results are wrong? According to my doc 4mg is the maximum estrofem they prescribe for hrt, making it sound like 2 mg is also a normal dose.
What are you expecting, and why?
>>
>>8397851
well because your levels spike when you take hormones...i'm thinking perhaps i should have waited to take my dosage until AFTER my blood was drawn for a more steady result.
>>
>>8397731
>estrogen levels were 181 pg/ml
This is closer to the low end of desired results. Maybe increase to 3mg/day?
Sounds like cypro is doing very well. 50mg is hard on the liver though, so consider moving to 25. Has your semen turned clear or are your balls shrinking?
>>
>>8397897
i didn't really notice but they sorta have. i can still get erections fairly easily although it's somewhat harder than before
>>
Does starting on a low dose of estrogen really benefit breast growth in the long run or should I just start off at 4 mg, 2mg in the morning 2 mg at night?
>>
>>8397851
sounds like a shitty doc that doesn't prescribe the dosage of the medication that the patient needs
>>
>>8398274
It's mostly anecdotal evidence about the breast growth thing.
But people say you should start at a lower dosage just so your body adjusts to it properly anyways.

2 questions

What are the pros/cons of injections?

Which AA is least likely to fuck with your kidney/liver?

I have weak kidneys and I don't know about my liver but liver diseases run in my family so it's possible. I know injections are easier on your liver so that's why I was thinking about injections over pills but I don't know. I plan on getting an orchi as soon as I can but I still will have to be on AA's for at least some time.

>>
>>8398613
It's a myth that pills are harsher on your liver if you're referring to Estradiol valerate. Estradiol valerate is metabolized basically as soon as it hits your blood stream. Your liver could metabolize it of course, but it doesn't need to since the enzyme is located throughout your body. Even when it's injected it's metabolized in your blood stream not your liver.
>>
>>8398613
Patches, sprays, gels, and creams will be kindest to the liver. All can use 17b-estradiol which is exactly what the ovaries make.

That's most likely the case but maybe not.
I've been trying to find more info on miroestrol in PM but lots of it is in Thai, and most studies don't go into the pharmacokinetics of it unfortunately.
It's closely related to estriol but it may be a SERM so theoretically it can maybe have more activity at the breast.
But nobody has tested It, and probably for good reason. In one study that did a 1mg and 5mg/day test like way back in 1950ish they had to cancel the experiment because the women had uncontrollable diarrhea and vomiting. But otherwise they were okay.

You can detrans anytime you want (though SRS/FFS is pretty irreversible). Nothing's stopping you from reverting back to baseline hormonal level. If you're on HRT for years you stand a good chance of permanently losing either dick or testicular functioning though, that's irreversible.

Those sound like fairly typical doses based on what I've read here and elsewhere.

Consider starting bicalutamide first, waiting a week or two, then starting estradiol. That way if you have any negative reactions you can determine what the cause is.

I wanna prevent masculinization as much as possible for atleast a year (maybe 2) until I can move out and get HRT. I don't wanna deal with the adverse health effects of it though. They will likely default to spiro unless you specifically ask for bica. Note that bica will result in increased estradiol levels due to aromatase converting the excess testosterone. Case in point, me: >>8405833

Get the emjoi emagine 72-tweezer one if you have a lot of hair.
Otherwise braun silk epil is supposed to be the best all-rounder. Phillips satin-el (I think that's what it is) is also supposed to be good.
For pubes and whatnot you'll need a smaller epilator otherwise you can use the normal ones it'll just hurt a lot.
Personally i use the emjoi one but I'm planning on switching to the braun ones cause I don't really need the huge "bulk removal" that the emjoi one is good at.
Your hair will look like crap for like the first yearish of doing it but after that it grows back really thin and light and you'll have that smooth look all the time. For the first while cause of hairs growing cycles you'll still the roots beneath the skin until you can pluck every hair on your body (hair growing cycles can take about 1.5-2 years to catch them all). Unless you're lucky and have bright coloured hair then you won't see the roots. Either way epilating eventually turns your hair blonde-ish.

For pain you can try pinching your nerves as you epilate. Grab your skin, squeeze It, and epilate on the squeezed part. It should pinch off the nerve and you won't feel anything. Otherwise you just have to live with it. It only hurts the first few times, after that it's easy
My hair has really deep roots and I still epilate just fine. I can see the roots growing back but in areas I've epilated more often the hair is too light to notice.
Sometimes the hair breaks off on the surface cause the roots are top strong but it'll eventually pluck it if you keep going over if. Sometimes cheaper epilators never can though, you get what you pay for! Lol

Nice.
What other tips?
Using talc powder?
>>
>>8407719
I doubt talc would help. It's only used in waxing to stop it from sticking to your skin.
Sometimes epilating after a shower helps open up your pores.
There's not much you can really do to help, you just have to get through it and then keep it off. The more you do it the easier it will get. Don't be surprised if you're epilating like every week or two for the first year, it would hardly surprise me. I believe they say only 15-30% of follicles on your legs grow at any one time so 1 year from now you may be plucking a hair for the very first time ever lol

How long the hair should be before epilating it?

2mm
>>
>>8407756
So if the hair is short the epilator won't get it, And if it's long the hair will break?
>>
>>8407737
If you have really strong roots it sometimes helps to leave it a bit longer, like 5-10mm even. But it sometimes depends on the person.
I always find with my epilator if the hair is too short it simply tugs on it and doesn't pull it out

Basically yeah. But I've never had issues with long hair breaking so I prefer letting it get longer. I've heard people say theirs breaks though. Never had it happen myself though, longer the better lol
>>
>>8407769
So I need to shave first then epilate.
How long do I have to wait?
>>
>>8407126
Yes!!! There's an increased risk of blood clots with just smoking by itself, let alone with hrt. Please stop anon.
>>
>>8407786
Weed is still okay though, right?
>>
>>8407325
Okay, for real, now you people aren't even reading the OP.

Bicalutamide:
More Expensive
Prevents T from binding, but free T levels remain high and thus complicate testing
Preserves sexual function and occasionally fertility

Spironolactone:
Cheap
Shit
Bad side effects
Primarily a diuretic with weak AA properties
>>
>>8407773
Use a trimmer and chop it to #1 or #2
>>
>>8407795
What about infertility?
>>
>>8407805
any AA brings infertility if you pair it with an estrogen
>>
>>8407805
Spironolactone and Cyproterone Acetate both make you infertile.

Bicalutamide also will probably make you infertile. Don't just hope it doesn't.
>>
>>8407820
What if you don't take E with it?
>>8407824
I thought spiro causes reversible infertility?
>>
>>8407824
Spiro has no actions on your testicles (It's 100% adrenals based) so fertility isn't a huge issue with it. When they use it for water retention fertility has never been an issue. I'm sure long term it would sit somewhere between cypro and bica in terms of chances of infertility.
All AAs tend to affect sperm motility though even if you're not sterile.
>>
Is there any benefits in taking HRT after 25 years old?
>>
>>8407855
>All AAs tend to affect sperm motility though even if you're not sterile.
So discounting spiro would improve sperm motility?
>>
>>8407860
Yes. It's probably too late to alter your bone structure, but you'll at least have a fairer and more femmy complexion.
>>
>>8407872
In that case should I stick to AA and fina only?
>>
>>8407864
You're going to affect your sperm no matter what is all I'm saying. Bica will affect it the least, followed by Spiro, followed by cypro.
You'll most likely be able to rebound fertility with bica and spiro if you're only on it for like a year or so. Bica could maybe go longer.
Sometimes recovering sperm motility can take like up to a year if you actually cause damage there though. I've even heard of extreme temperatures causing sperm motility to decrease for up to 5-6 years. Just cause you have sperm doesn't mean it wants to do anything lol
>>
>>8407846
you shouldn't take only an AA for a prolonged amount of time
>>
is it cheaper to buy hormones off the dark net or QHI?
and which is stocked more often?
>>
>>8407999
Whatever is cheapest probably depends on whether the darknet packages get caught in customs or not. If you know they won't, you can easily compare the current prices on your own
From what I've seen QHI is stocked most of the time, but they ran out of estrofem for a long time last year I think
>>
>>8407791
Only if you are eating it, vaping it, or making it into a tea. If you are smoking it you are still inhaling stuff that increases chances of complications with heart, lungs etc. Look at your pipe you smoke with, notice how it turns all black and nasty? Some of that is bound to get into your body. People have to understand when you smoke the plant, it's not just thc, it's leaves, some stems, and whatever possible stuff that attaches to it in all the handling and changing hands. Do drugs smartly, not easily.
>>
>>8407884
If you're fine with osteoporosis, then yes. Otherwise you're gonna need a hormone.
>>
Anywhere to purchase legit cypro? How can i tell if the cypro is fake from inhouse? Is it possible for you to take a pic of the packing of the real and fake cypro pills?
>>
>>8408135
Get it from qhi, pretty sure people haven't got fake pills from there before.
>>
>>8408135
Nobody is faking meds. I've never seen any evidence to suggest that they are. Even in India, the plants where they manufacture this stuff are heavily regulated.

Also if you were faking stuff, you wouldn't fake an extremely niche drug like that. You'd fake viagra or something.

>on Cypro+Progynova
>don't want boobs, never have
Are you retarded? You're literally taking estradiol. Yes, raloxifene can revert early stage breast growth if it's started very soon after the breast growth appears. It should take a couple months. Consider seeing a doctor.
>>
>>8374977
Ive been taking 100mg spiro and 4mg estradiol for nearly a year now. I want to start progesterone toake my boobies grow, but it has to be available on inhouse.... what should I be taking?
>>
Is it too late for me if I'm twenty seven? ;_;

For what?

My boobs are beginning to develop, it's early stages. I'll definitely jump on Raloxifene soon.

I was on Bica+Ralox for 3 months and saw absolutely nothing, so I switched off to see progress, and I have (Not just boobs), but boobs are a pretty big thing for me so I'll be back on Ralox soon.
