There's RLE where I live as well, but only hons that are scared of ordering things off the internet actually go through with it.

Sometimes you can also get a prescription from your GP rather than your endo if the endo starts refusing to treat you. But if not just keep self-medding

They do it all over Canada as well. But we also have informed consent, sort of. You just have to find a GP that's willing to do it since our informed consent isn't through any special clinics. It usually depends. A lot of therapists ask you to do stuff like come out to family and friends before they prescribe you anything. Whether or not you do RLE depends on where you live usually.

Where I live they have RLE as a requirement but I self-medded so they sent me to an endo and I don't go to any therapists. My GP also does therapy, just not specifically gender stuff, so it's good enough for me. I don't think I'd like regular therapy, it would feel like I'm being blackmailed into therapy just to get drugs lmao

That's true, where I live they had me sign this consent paper sort of shit where I agreed to be given treatment provided I adapted to live as the opposite sex and come out to family and friends, and failure to do so would result in stopping HRT. It's incredibly easy to bullshit through it, you sign and pretend you're just out to everybody in your family and friends and that you're socially transitioning too whenever you have to deal with the psychiatrists. Good thing they don't demand a strict clothing code which makes lying way easier

Normally the GP can recommend them to an endo that then does blood tests and prescribes whatever they need. The GP's role is either being a first-line medical support for generic shit or assessing the situation to send you to a specialist. They *could* prescribe you shit but they just don't. For estrogens it's easier because they're not as strictly regulated as testosterone, but they'll often send the woman to a gynecologist for that.

HRT won't change you masculine skeletal features.
All it's gonna do is stop your male puberty(assuming it hasn't finished yet), give you small breasts, smoother skin and redistribute your body fat a bit. It won't magically make you pass.
Unless you start really young(as a minor), passing is mostly affected by makeup and clothing choice. Otherwise it all boils down to genetics or starting really young.
