Late transitioners are pretty likely to suicide once they come to the realization that they won't ever be passable and that nobody is seeing them as anything but a freak. I was already ugly, so, I didnt really lose anything there.
As far as passing goes, I pass seemingly at random currently. It kinda sucks but its better than the constant feeling of terrible that I had before HRT. Ill take that random injection of good feelings and the experience of being a normal human being anyday.

My life is sort of like that. Ive been deeply depressed my entire life and I had no idea why until I found. Ive attempted suicide 3 different times and failed.
Even after hrt I still get random spots of depression. It doesnt really hurt me as much as it used to anymore because Ive been living with deep depression for so long that Ive kinda embraced that awful feeling and came out of the other side way better than I was. I still slip into depression but now I have more control over my depression than It has control on me. Or something like that. I think I fucked that explanation up somewhere. Oh well.

Also, keep in mind that your idea of an average woman and what an average woman actually looks like irl might be different. Are you comparing your looks to the top 1% or women and saying fuck it? Go people watching and look for things that clock someone as trans sometime, you will see it everywhere. The point here is that you probably can with effort and more than likely you will be in the average category for female attractiveness.

This is so true. For anybody worrying about passing, go to a non expensive grocery store at a few different times of the day. You will see how most women look. My biggest issue is my skin looks to good for my age.

Wish I had the money to make a trip to Yellowstone this year. No chance. It was during a trip to Yellowstone & GTNP that I had the first memories come back that I'd tried to transitioned before. By my next trip I was on hormones.
