Early transition certainly has its benefits, but it doesn't have to be THAT early to have a profound impact. If someone transitions at 12, naturally they're going to probably look nice at 16, but that doesn't mean they're inherently going to look nicer at 30 than someone who transitioned at 17. I can't agree with you there. From the very fact that both will look very different from each other once they're each 5 years into HRT, no matter what age you compare them at, the one who started at 12 will look at least marginally better with all other things being equal. The 12 year girl will have never developed secondary sex characteristics in her life, while the 17 year girl will have likely gone through 3 years of virilization. That's enough to make significant changes to the skeleton.

Further studies are required, like anything else, but this is a good sign.

No. However, that does not mean that either would end up as bad as a late transitioner. That same study I mentioned did compare its results to two other studies on transgender youth, where one was in Toronto and the other Utrecht. In both of those studies, anxiety and depression scores were higher, but I would have to look at those studies closely to see if they were properly comparable populations.

Which is corrected for by administering estrogen at 13 or earlier. If you do that, you make their height plateau as early as cis girls do. See Jackie Green who would have been 6'5", but is now 5'11" because Dr. Spack gave her estrogen at 13. Without estrogen at 13 or before, I wouldn't consider someone truly early for the purpose of comparing early transitioners to each other or later transitioners.

Eli Erlick seems to be the one genuine case of this I've seen so far (if it's true she received estrogen at 13). Meanwhile Nicole looks like that because she only got estrogen at 16, and Jazz only looks odd when compared to the average woman, but comparing her to her sister, you see she's normal for what she was given. But hypothetically, it might be possible since there are extremely manly cis women. Though those cis women like that normally have hormonal issues of their own, which shouldn't occur in the case of a hormonally-controlled transition.
