If you pass that won't be a problem

If you think that's feminine, then you're AGP.
No woman since the 19th century has aspired to look like that.

The ugly freaks who like anime are a tiny minority of the female population.
Women these days wear skinny jeans and bodycon dresses.
If you weren't AGP and could actually hang around normal Cis women who weren't autistic animetards you'd know this.

>WAH SOME PEOPLE PUT EFFORT INTO THEIR APPEARANCE
Not everybody is a normie who wants to wear the standard Stacey uniform, anon. Alternative fashion will always be a thing.

Okay but the thread is literally about how to look AGP.

That's what every autist with no sense of what to wear will tell you though... or what every agp will tell you.

I do.
It's why I find the idea of adults dressing up like Victorian infants highly disturbing.

Oh, you're just against it in general. Why? You know it's quite popular in non-trans circles as well, right?
>>
>>8316505
There's nothing FASHION about "Lolita". It's perversion.
I live in London so I see thousands of people with different styles everyday.
The only person I've seen walking down the street in satin pink "pyjamas" and a crimson fur trim vintage granny coat was a trans with five o clock shadow.
Nuff said.
It's AGP as fuck.

>>8315037
Don't listen to this anon OP plenty of ciswomen love these clothes it's just not practical in todays day and age to wear them because for example lolita is basically this and I know plenty of cis lolitas that look great however society just thinks it's cosplay or costumes and not actual fashion these days so if you want to wear normie clothes you basically gatta look like a hoe at this point. All forms of sophistication have been lost for only pure sex appeal unfortunately. But may I recommend clothes like Sae chan from persona 5? Clothes like hers give of sophistication and sex appeal at the same time. Basically office attire with your own personal touch is what's in these days.
>>
>>8316529
... okay? What the fuck are you doing here then if you're against perversion??
>>8316533
You're wrong. Sakuracon and Katsucon - both here in California - have incredibly high numbers of lolita fashion fans. You're not even misinformed, you're just wrong.
>>
>>8316519
I'm not forking over that many of my hard earned dollerydoos on a multicolored tarp that I don't even think is gonna make my boobs look all that good. I like cool clothes and obviously I want stuff that fits but how much am I supposed to pay for one for those black n white jackets they're offering?

One of those things could buy me a quarter of weed, an entire outfit at a thrift store, groceries, or go into my surgery fund.

Sorry! I appreciate the attempt to help though
>>
>tfw AGP so don't dress femme in public because being turned on around other people is awkward as fuck
forever_a_tomboy.jpg

Real talk OP: dressing like the girl in your picture is fucking exhausting. Think about all of the effort you have to put into putting all of that shit on. Normal outfits you can throw on and be on your merry way in minutes.
>>
>>8316479
Fuck off with your elitist crap
>>
>>8316538
Isn't aiming for sex appeal the most "AGP" imaginable though?
>>
>everyone saying that its not worth the effort

If it's OP's perogative then fuck it, let em. Style's subjective yo
>>
>>8316554
Nah, femininity is.
>>
>>8316530
Unconditional is midrange not expensive.
Expensive is thousands, not hundreds.
And the cheap shit you buy literally copies the expensive designer clothes but makes them in sweat shops with cheap fabrics.

>>8316540
Lmfao.
So again, conventions filled with autistic freaks is what you're calling popular.
That's like claiming anime is popular when it really fucking isn't.
If it was, you'd see women walking down the street in those hideous perverted clothes.

>>8316548
Well that's up to you. Your priority obviously isn't fashion, so why ask for fashion advice?
Nice clothes cost money, even in thrift shops you won't find decent things unless you go to wealthy areas where they aren't cheap either.
I suppose Zara is a good cheap fashion shop, their stuff isn't THAT alternative though.
>>
>>8316574
>Your priority obviously isn't fashion, so why ask for fashion advice?
I mean, my priority is fun. Sex is fun. To get sex you gotta be cute right? Even that aside good clothing well help me pass easing my dysphoria. So it's a bunch of things. I don't like cars but I can drive to work. I don't like fashion but I want to able to look pretty.
>>
>>8316589
>Even that aside good clothing well help me pass easing my dysphoria
UH
Look yes you can be AGP and trans but giving in to your AGP fantasies isn't the best way to overcome them. Dressing like a normal woman is way better for that, and will help you stand out less.
>>
>>8316550
I wasn't actually planning on dressing in straight-up lolita fashion lol (Though it's cute.) OP pic is just a feminine picture I like a lot.

I do want to push it though with really girly attire. Right now I dress in boyish clothes trying to blend in and I'm worried standing out will make me look like a creepy fetishist.

I'm well aware beauty takes a lot of effort. That's one of the things that becomes immediately apparent with transition.
>>
>>8316589
No one but autistic freaks think that animetrash is cute or sexy.
Like I said buy some stuff from Zara, it's cheap, stylish and sexy.
>>
>>8316610
sad
>>
>>8316610
>No one but autistic freaks think that animetrash is cute or sexy.
You're harsh but fair Anon. I respect you.
>>
>>8316607
>Right now I dress in boyish clothes trying to blend in and I'm worried standing out will make me look like a creepy fetishist.
Okay, don't take it the wrong way but it does sound like there's an aspect of that to this. I'm not saying don't dress up, as normalizing feminine clothes is part of how you stop fetishizing feminine clothes (the taboo is why you feel like you do in the first place) but maybe don't go overboard. Go for the girly edge of the fashion overton window.
>>
>>8316632
I feel like I do because of threads like this where trans women get called autistic freaks if they try to be especially feminine lol.
>>
>>8316638
Okay fair, I'm a bit of a jerk here, sorry (though I'm not the one who said that).
Going full princess IS a trap tho
>>
Summer is coming so just get some cute tops, skirts and cardigans and you're set.
>>
>>8316627
I'm not harsh, it's true.

>>8316638
Most trans women dress well and you wouldn't be able to tell they're trans.
I'm calling the perverts who think "Lolita fashion" is a thing autistic freaks.
Cis or trans.
>>
>>8316529
are you mixing up the fashion style with the book? They are two completely different things you know. Cis women deal with this problem too and have to correct people.

>>8316554
No because if we are going by textbook definitions of sex the entire role of being a female is to get impregnated by a man and the best way to do that is sex appeal. Cis women do this all the time to attract mates. Women have been wanting to be more and more independant so more women work now than ever. That means they have to wear work attire now but it never stopped them turning it into a fashion statement to attract potential mates.
>>
>>8316728
Not that there's anything wrong with the book of course.
>>
>>8316649
>Going full princess IS a trap tho
Sigh, perhaps you're right. I'll start small and try not to go overboard I guess.

>>8316738
What about lesbians
>>
>>8316773
I don't know i'm not a lesbian. But i'd say the same principal applies. Humans are different than other animals in the sense that we are aware of our actions. For some reason some animals are attracted to the same sex maybe because in general animals care about the sex part because it feels good and not the having kids part. That is why mothers are so maternal because after they have a kid all those maternal instincts kick in so only worry about their child and nothing else, the father also has this instinct however it is not as strong as the mother. This applies to most mammals.
>>
>>8316728
No fuck off you autistic freak.

>>8316738
You aren't trans. Seriously you AGPs are just misogynistic freaks.
Noble women were only valued for providing heirs for their noble husbands.
The vast majority of women throughout history have had to work the fields, th same as the men.
Their fashion was dictated by patriarchal pressures from the church.
Women have only recently been liberated from institutional oppression and are still facing social oppression from MEN like you.
Women do not exist or even think they exist to give birth to children.
If you actually went outside and got a job you'd realise women wear summer dresses to the office, not fucking pin striped suits.
And if you weren't an AGP pervert incapable of mixing with women, you'd know women dress the way they do more to impress other women than men, because as you AGP perverts prove, most straight Cis men have no fashion sense whatsoever.
Ugh.
Scum
>>
>>8316798
I have an office job and it's required to wear business attire the fuck are you on? I do agree that fashion is a competition amongst women and they do get jealous but that is because they want to one up each other for attention from men. Everything else you said is literally bullshit fight the patriarchy shit.
>>
>>8315161
>>8316136
>>8316538

I bet you're all hons trying to justify wearing knee-high socks too, telling people you pass, when you know the reality is that you know you don't and everyone clocks you, primarily based on your weeb clothing.
>>
>>8316826
Business attire for women isn't a fucking suit.
They can literally wear almost anything that is smart. That includes tight short dresses.
Women aren't competing for the attention of men, you retarded man brained fuck.
If they did they'd dress like porn stars.
>>
>>8316843
Preach.
Like I said the only "high femme" person I've EVER seen on the street was a tranny with five o'clock shadow.
And I wouldn't even have looked hard enough to clock his AGP ass if he hadn't been wearing such retarded clothes.
>>
>>8316798
>Seriously you AGPs are just misogynistic freaks.

Lolwat in the past clothes worn by women were generally enforced by other women. Nowadays is not any different than it was in the past.
It's like how feminists tried to claim men forced women to wear corsets but there's like hundreds of quotes by men and doctors against corsets and in reality it was women that created and maintained the trend.

>Why are you even posting here?

I have been on this board since the start of my transition sum 6 years ago. I have seen alot of struggling individuals like yourself and alot of good information while also working my ass off to reintegrate into society as a woman and I have learned alot. And what I can learn from you based off your attitude and the way you write tells me that you have alot of inner struggles within yourself that you can't get over. I hope you can it just takes time. Some can overcome struggles faster than others while others can never overcome them. May I suggest reading up on philosophy and zen my dear anon.

>>
>>8316931
Are you retarded?
Do you think it's just a coincidence that it's only after women's suffrage that corsets became unfashionable, long skirts became unfashionable, women wearing trousers became fashionable etc?
For centuries women had to cover up their bodies (apart from their tits after the renaissance).
It took women getting rights and political influence to allow them fashion freedoms.
Back then fashion was dominated by men, it still is.

>>8316962
Um no, doll.
I just know the difference between fashion and just a gross perversion.

>>8317076
You're a misogynist.
You clearly have a man brain, and an old baby boomer man brain at that.
It's not 1950.
>>
This thread is fucking hilarious. A bunch of basement dwellers telling people what the "wrong" kind of fashion is.

Obviously if you walk around in a southern bell dress with a hoop skirt you're going to have people staring. But adding a petticoat to a flared skirt, as long as it's stylish, is going to land you compliments. I know, because I've done just that. I literally have a 1950's house wife outfit my partner picked out for me. I wear frilly ankle socks with it. Everytime I go out in it someone compliments me for them.

>>
>>8317174

It's seen as unstylish, old fashioned, envious and misogynistic actually.
You really need to get out of whatever rural shit hole you live in and move to a city where the population aren't decades behind.

>>8317292

>>8317292

This >>8317302

You're just an overbearing cunt forcing what you deem acceptable on others, and sperging out when people don't share your views.
>>
>>8317200
>Back then fashion was dominated by men, it still is.
Most men of that era were pretty judgemental of female fashion such as corsets though. What kept it going was women themselves.
I know there was the whole big movement to abandon that clothing but regardless men didn't like corsets anyway. There's numerous sources stating female fashion was mainly driven by women, not men. Theres tons of quotes by men making fun of women for wearing such ridiculous things. Men might have been the predominant tailors but they just made what women wanted. Most doctors at the time were also quite critical of corsets.
So if neither men or women liked the clothes women wore in the past who was enforcing It? It was obviously women, most historical sources would agree considering from what we know men didn't like the fashion that women often wore.
>>
>>8317302
>>8317315
You're just perverts with no taste.
Put down the anime and pick up a Vogue.

>>8317322
No they didn't.
1. Only the noble and merchant classes even knew about fashion.
2. Doctors and cynical writers really had fuck all influence on the ruling classes who dictated what was fashionable and what wasn't.
You can claim all the sources you want from people who were critical of the fashions of their era, those people were a minority with no fucking influence.
The fact is after women's lib women's fashion completely transformed and women were no longer confined to impractical cages.
Your anecdotes are irrelevant when in the 100 years since suffrage women can wear trousers, don't wear corsets or floor length skirts and can pretty much wear whatever the fuck they want.
And the only people calling them sluts are jealous misogynistic women who wish they could wear the clothes or conservative misogynistic men.
You fall into the latter but probably think you're the former.

Female fashion has had incredible variety across all of history and all cultures.
Summing it all up as corsets, crinolines and long skirts before suffrage is retarded.
The local environment also played a much larger part in what women wore than some male sensibilities.

>>
>>8317682
Okay.

You have officially forfeited any right to call anybody misogynistic.
>>
>>8317682
insulting women for having flat-chests is pretty misogynistic
>>
>>8317682
why are you so angsty/bored

are you done taking this thread for a wild ride
>>

>cis girls
>They're literally AGP females.
Really activated the almonds.
>>
>>8317699
Or "old-fashioned" for that matter.

They pretty much called women with an interest in science men. What progressive thinking.
>>
>>8317682
Careful it sounds like you're letting your misogynistic man hands get control of your keyboard now
>>
>>8317739
they're probably a troll with too much free time giggling at how he's made everyone take him seriously

You're right that was low.
It just annoys me that people don't try and like... look good. Or like try they're hardest not to look good in the case of cosplayers. Like wtf happened to you to make you think that's acceptable to do?
What the fuck kind of grown adult plays dress up when it's not Halloween?

>>8317726
Because I have severe mental health issues, duh.

>>8317744
Bitch, there is no keyboard on an iPhone...
>>
>>8317794
>iPhone
Figures.
>>
>>8317794
meh it's no harm letting people do whatever tf they want

grown-ups play dress up in the bedroom heck, and halloween is just an excuse to enjoy themselves by dressing up
>>
>>8317794
There's events all the time for dressing up like comic con and anime events. People like to make their own costumes and dress up because it's fun to do.
Also where exactly are you getting this that cosplayers don't look good? They probably just look like normal girls on any other day. Many cosplayers are professional models as well.

For someone so obsessed with how much the patriarchy is oppressing women don't you think it's a little ironic that as a man transitioning into a woman that you're now imposing arbitrary standards onto other women?
>>
Remember, doing what you want and enjoying what you wear is agp. Dress like Andy Warhol, watch anime, and never go outside.
>>

is she an ayy lmao from Pandora?
>>
>>8318912
Guess I have to choose to be a proud AGP then. At least there was some good advice in this thread until sperglord took over.

No, I really didn't want to look AGP!

But I am now content knowing that I will be seen as AGP no matter what I do!

I wish girls still wore dresses all the time.
