Does anyone else ever feel like they're just too broken to be intimate with people, romantically or otherwise?

Had a fucked up childhood with a dysfunctional family, been through an ass-billion hours of therapy. Have struggled with major depressive disorder and suicidal ideation since my early teens. I crave close, stable bonds more than anything, but I'm almost 30 now and even my friendships never seem to work out. Either they leave or I - with the best of intentions, not that it matters - fuck something up. I made a lot of friends last year and was so happy, but we've all been going through hard times recently and I ended up losing a lot of them. Since then I've deleted all my social media and just been isolating from everyone.

I don't know. Maybe in the same way I was never meant to be a mathematician (worst subject) or acrobat (clumsy as hell), I'm just not meant to have close relationships with people either. The idea of having a partner is so alien now.
