If attraction to MtFs and FtMs is a distinct sexual orientation of its own, then is pansexuality now a legitimate term? What becomes of the word bisexual, wouldn't a heterosexual and GAMP man be bisexual, but also a heterosexual and homosexual, but not GAMP man?
If being attracted to MtF/FtM is a legitimate orientation, then MtF/FtM are not legitimately F/M, but would be separate.
I think "pansexual" is actually kind of offensive since it's pretty much just another word for "chaser" or "fetishizer"

I mean anyone who isn't dumb understands that trannies are a kind of intersex imo

I don't mind someone saying "I like trannies too" though, also I don't think its fetishistic, its a legitimate attraction.

no doubt
I'm a cis gay guy, and I see FtM as legit men, imo.
I don't see any reason to attach a new label on myself. It just seems like some kind of special snowflake value signalling for people who don't really get it but think they are being "super progressive".

I'm not saying they are not legitimate men, no more than I would say that an XXY man is not a legitimate man.
Tons of cis gay guys aren't into FtMs though, and a good chunk of cis lesbians are into them.
There are people of every shade of sexuality attracted to trans people whether their orientation respects their identity or not.

I just think it's snowflake. Bi is enough. I hope to never date a pan. I find it exclusionary.
