Do trans guys have a call to reclaim auto-androphilia (AAP) labels if the discourse has explicitly never been used to divide their experience into hierarchies or undermine their experience as fetishistic? Should they use a term as a tongue-in-cheek self-descriptor when the only reason it exists is because its counterpart has been used to portray trans women as male fetishists?
