i never realized i was 'trans' i realized that i could stop my male puberty and switch to female puberty with hrt and basically immediately told my parents and got their permission to diy. i always was a girl, i dont know. around 13, and thats when i started getting severely depressed as i started male puberty so i basically just dressed in baggy clothes and sat in bed all day

my father was positively involved in my life until i was about 5 or so when he went off his SSRIs and fell back into depression. then it was a downward spiral as he would go into cycles of lashing out and then withdrawal, and there were whole months where i didn't see him at all
