That's how the majority of chasers are. The only guys who date trannies seem to always be in one of two camps. Guys in the first camp will dump a girl once she's post-op and will come up with a list of justifications for why she should keep her penis. We have a few people that started at 16. Commieposter started at 15, but she seems pretty temporary and any other 15 year olds probably add up to 5 total. We did get a 14 year old asking for help though. The rest seemed to transition with 19 or 20 as the median. There are some at 17 or 18, and then others at 21, 22, 23, and up to 28.

I started HRT at 20 and I am unpassable along with living in boymode. Since I was young, I never counted on the possibility of my parents helping or approving of my transition and planned on doing it without them when I became an adult (I had no idea of the damage puberty could cause by then). But when I was in 7th or 8th grade, my father blew up about the tranny thing when he caught my youngest brother watching a documentary on a transitioner in her 50s. I had warned my brother before then, but he stupidly went right back to it hours later and got caught. I always knew my parents didn't have a positive opinion of gender non-conformity or LGBT, but that particular day affected me quite strongly psychologically and I started repressing. I feel some resentment toward my brother for that day.

I've since gained an appreciation for the concept of trans representation though, so if I somehow started passing I'm not entirely sure I would go stealth. And it kind of makes me wonder in the case I had transitioned early if I would have come to the same conclusion over time or stuck with the stealth plan.

I went out to IKEA with my parents yesterday and I felt maybe my face could be passable once I get rid of my facial hair forever and with some FFS, but I saw that my body really was unsalvageable before I left the house. I didn't bother shaving since I was sure no one would think I look like a woman and we were short on time. I did get a lot of odd stares, one kid in particular made me wonder what he was thinking. It doesn't help my body issue that I'm Hispanic so there are no women in my ethnicity with my body shape at all and very few of my height (5'10"). Especially in this area, lots of cis Latinas have bodies like Alyssa Sorto's. To be clear, besides being tall, my problems with my body are broad shoulders and what I feel is a broad chest in comparison to my hips. My waist is also not highly defined though my WHR is 0.74.
