Well, that's the thing. Psychology is fairly young and the medication made for it is made without fully understanding the chemical and psychiatric reaction. One pill will help this, but make something else worse or cause a whole other plethora of problems.
Why I wouldn't depend on meds, like with my PTSD. Just made the depression/anxiety worse. So I started doing what I thought would help and it worked.

but my emotions are allllllllllll over the place and it preoccupies me to an extent
