Because he's a high school senior with a tranny for a sibling? Our parents don't approve LGBT, but they don't do much to prevent me against being LGBT (that might be because I'm not doing much though; beyond HRT I'm not doing anything). He was also upset when I told him that he might have missed out on being 6'2" because his fat increased his levels of estrogen. His lack of a girlfriend is also due to a lack of practice and possibly a family culture of not encouraging dating.

I'm not going to say the names, but I will say that I was joking a bit for the purpose of the thread. Because while my name is definitely males only, in the country where my parents are from, my little brother's name is just another variant of John. In English with the same spelling, it's exclusively a girl's name. She said she would have named him something else if someone had told her it's a girl's name here.

I was honestly bothered when my dad said the insurance company was going to raise the car insurance rate because they misregistered my little brother as a girl due to his name. It reminded me that when I'm put on the insurance plan, I'll be registered as male. Whereas if I had transitioned as an adolescent, I would go straight in as female. Like it should have been me.

I don't think he dislikes his name enough to change it, besides the both of us exchanging names or just me taking his would confuse things unnecessarily.

I haven't been put on the plan yet since I don't have my license. That's despite me being 22 and my brothers getting theirs by 18. For me to have my documents changed to female before being put on the plan, I would either have to change them now and deal with people laughing at me for being a visible tranny until I save up for FFS, or save up the money for FFS without the use of a car so I can then have my documents changed. Neither is really practical. I'm just lamenting how things could and should have been.
