By forcing the child to wait you are psychologically harming the child. Persistence in gender expression over a year is good enough. Those that persist that long don't stop unless it is somehow beaten out of them. Then they are repressed, psychologically damaged and it always comes back. The reproductive coding in the brain is not something you can ignore. It's hardwired to assure the survival of the species.

Then, very naturally they fully identify as a girl. In this circumstance was it nature or nurture that caused them to transition. Would they have transitioned if not for their parents regendering their entire upbringing?

But being a transperson is statistically a worse hand to be dealt than cis. More likely to have mental illness, more likely to be bullied, victimized in violent crime, inability to reproduce, identity issues, things I'm sure you understand very well.

Transitioning is a type of medical treatment for the mental illness of dysphoria.

Why would you unnecessarily subject your child to such a life? What are the odds that they will find just as much satisfaction out of being trans as being cis? Just sterility alone will complicate their life, not to mention the trouble they will have with other children because of their inherent differentness.

Since gender is a social construct, a child will identify with whatever gender they are raised as. So in a sense one can manufacture dysphoria, in which case you are unnecessarily subjecting them to the complications of transitioning. i.e. trouble fitting in, identity issues, monetary cost of transitioning, sterility (which further complicates their marriage prospects), etc.

This is a stupid assumption. Gender isn't wholly a social construct. There is a core of gender that relates to reproductive role that is hardwired into the brain. You can't fight against that programming and win. You may think you have it suppressed, but it will show it's self when your guard drops. It is this core that the children are responding to. They know they are feminine or masculine, and want to dress as and associate with their own kind.
