Well this has nothing to do with /lgbt/, but that aside you are completely right.

I had a friend who was sort of a social outcast and all he had were his weeb hobbies (he was an internet friend, he had no irl friends) then suddenly he threw everything away and started getting into /pol/-tier politics. I thought it was a good thing since he stopped being a shut in, but he slowly became obsessed and now he's sort of nuts and went back to being pathetic anyway and all he does is "discuss politics" with other crazy fucks on the internet while pretending to be intellectual.

I don't know why I'm telling this story but whatever.

This is true of both the extreme right and the extreme left.

What is sad is the ideals that they choose to follow. A racist believes everyone not from their race is less than, and hence elevates themselves by nature of what they are without any effort. That's the sad part.

The right wing roots out weakness. It allows for people to either succeed or fail based purely on them.
If you're lazy, you'll go without, there's no system that feels pity for you and gives you hand outs.
If you're stupid, you will be left behind, likely to fade away, leaving only the smartest or average to push forward.
Humans need something to aspire to why not something as selfless as the betterment of mankind?
How do you begin doing that? By being honest. What is holding us back? Keeping us from our destiny? The burden of trying drag our lessers along with us.
Slowing progress in the name of inclusiveness and diversity, when in truth, they bring nothing of true value to the table, they just give us a momentary high of self righteousness, for being so virtuous as to include them. All behind the guise of open-mindedness, liberty, and justice.
The right is honest, is willing to make tough choices, to put aside it's feelings for a better tomorrow. The right doesn't divide us, nature does that, the right simply acknowledges it and works accordingly.
The left is self serving, cares too much for the individual and too little for the people as a whole. Who is this individual? What makes their rights, their feelings, their desires so much more important than that of the people's? Self aggrandizement has been the fall of many, and when coupled with a martyr complex leads to things like 'Tolerance'.
Tolerance of others, no matter how poisoness they have proven to be.
Aristotle knew of this too well.
