Ok, from start to finish there is a major improvement away from masculine features, maybe not pretty, but there is only so much you can do starting from total masculine secondary sex characteristics.

All that aside, if they really are ONLY 1 WEEK Post-op then there should be more swelling than there is and it shows how good Dr. Deschamps-Braly is at working with skin and flesh. This is the least amount of swelling I've seen on any FFS patient after such a short time, and I've seen so many pictures of jaw work very soon post-op and it is never this light.

Transgender isn't about ugly vs. pretty (I have seen some transgender women who end up looking very pretty, and some that look extremely homely). Its about male vs. female. She doesn't look very female but she looks more feminine than she did before. If she puts on makeup, feminine haircut, feminine clothing people will be able to tell that she identifies as a woman and will treat her accordingly unless they are jerks.

I knew a person who I assume was a transgender woman, they had a very masculine face/stubble, but wore girly shirt and earrings and did their hair long. So I treated them as a woman in day to day. Its stuff like that that is most important for "passing" is to convey your intentions. Its not important to look 100%. Most people are aware of transgender issues and want to be a friend.
