I'm considering running away to San Fransisco.

Next Friday I'll have about $1000, a car, a bachelor's degree in Finance & Econ, a year and a half of accounting experience, I'm a bi trans girl (Frisco libs love bi trans girls), unattractive but when I finish weight loss (about 20 more pounds to go before I hit perfection) and finish my laser (about 20 bajillion more dollars to go) I'll be pretty cute.

I'll drive out to San Fran, stay at homeless shelters and sell my body for sex until I can get a job with my marketable degree. Then I'll keep living in a homeless shelter until I can save enough money to move to a more affordable suburb.

How does this plan sound? Are there any problems in it? How likely is it to succeed? Has anyone here tried it? Input, thoughts?

>How does this plan sound?
It sounds reckless. But you already knew that, didn't you. You can't run away from your problems. They're inside of you.
>>
>>8112149

My problems are parents, and I sure can run away from them.
>>
>WANTING to be homeless in San Francisco
Trannies are mentally ill, confirmeD.
>>
>>8112122
why don't you get a job......................first?
>>
>>8112479

Getting a job in a city 3/4 of a country away is not an easy task, especially if you're in the entry level bracket. You have to be able to actually show up to the physical interview to get hired. Plus no one wants to hire an employee who's going to need a few months to make a proper move into one of the most expensive cities in America.

External problems aren't real, anon. The vexations are in your head. Why don't you try not being an insufferable little shit who can't manage blood relations. They're biologically predisposed to loving you. What, you think strangers will be kinder?
>>
>>8112122
I did that sort of. Moved to seattle with only $2000 and my car. I had to be a drug dealer for a couple of years, but now I have a stable life in a liberal city.
>>
>>8112122
>moving to Povertufornia
Come to AZ instead
>>
>>8112498
then don't go to san francisco. don't go to a random big, expensive metro area just because you heard its name in relation to liberal tolerant gays.

i don't know about california, but bellingham or olympia WA are definitely lgbt-friendly and a lot cheaper. not a good place to be homeless either, but you can get a cheap room and a minimum wage job where you can sent out applications to better ones.
>>
>>8112183
>My problems are parents
Just DELET parents.
>>
>>8112122
Get a job set up before you move or you are sunk.
>>
>>8112122
>a bachelor's degree in Finance & Econ
>a year and a half of accounting experience
start looking at the job adds for SF. Get an entry level accounting position then move there. Work up from there. Also consider other LGBT friendly cities.
>>
>>8112122
>1000 dollars

Add another zero to that if you actually wanna live in San Francisco. And get a job lined up too.
>>
>>8113350
>>8112122

So like. As someone who lives in Bay Area, is trans, and just moved Away from SF to East Bay, like...
Don't be completely convinced you'll be safe in SF as trans, because it isn't true. You will need Waaay more than $1000 as well since studios there START at $2000 a month. You're better off starting in East Bay with the LGBT support centers there are around and people are more accepting of you here (Oakland, Berkeley being your best bets) and with ~$2500 you can establish yourself.

Yeah, look for jobs and start contacting people. Don't do that to yourself, being homeless in SF is one of the worst things I've seen people experience.
>>
>>8114630

You will die. Like, you will. There's no if and or buts about it. You'll be raped and you won't be able to handle it.
>>
>>8112122

Safer plan: Spend a few days or weeks doing research until you've found a nice hippie-ish city that's much cheaper than San Francisco (maybe some medium-small college town someplace, or some Northern California suburb that's within reach of your goal but not quite there, or whatever else you may find) but that still has a very positive attitude toward gays and such. Go there and be homeless or whatever while you look for a low-level job like as a waitress or retail douche or whatever. Once you have that, rent a terrible little apartment with your new tranny friend from the local LGBT center as your roommate (to reduce costs). There, now you're stable and you never had to get beaten or raped or robbed or drugged or arrested.

THEN start looking for your accounting job in your dream city. Once you have it, move there.
>>
>>8112122
Why not get a job, save money, and then move? Whoring yourself out is not funsies and comes at great risk to your physical and mental health (especially if you're trans)
>>
>>8112122
>unattractive but when I finish weight loss (about 20 more pounds to go

If you're unattractive now, losing 20 lbs won't change anything.
>>
>>8112122
>stay at homeless shelters and sell my body for sex

What could possibly go wrong?
>>
>>8112479
What is with this "forethought" bullshit.

Check your planning privilege!
>>
>>8115171
Yup
>>
The Bay Area is ridiculously expensive.

Don't come here.
>>
What's "affordable" to you? While I have never lived in SF (or the Bay in general), but I have friends from high school in college that live there. Most are making around 50K (unless you get lucky, you will most likely start off making between 25K-40K) who pay outrageous sums of money for rooms in houses/apartments with 5+ other people out of necessity. While I do not really identify with the "movement" at all, there are plenty of other LGBT-friendly cities in the country that have half, or even less, the cost of living that the Bay does. Don't do it unless you can somehow obtain a job that pays $150K+.

Also, you are probably going to get raped.
>>
>>8112122
I live in the hood here. Don't come here. No one will like you, and you'll just be gentrifying even if you're poor. You have to be extremely egalitarian and able to deal with shitty people of all races, sexuality, and gender identities.

You won't be attractive enough of a hooker to make it here. You'll end up on East 14th hooking for tens and twenties, a wash out who can't even afford more than a one room shack. Go to Washington or Oregon; there, you can at least survive off the street. Homeless people- I've been homeless in Oakland- are brutal here. They will stab you, rape you, mug you, and they won't get caught. Police will mess you up; they will use you and hurt you. It's a shit show. SF cops are the worst, just as bad as LAPD or Seattle PD, corrupt and violent.

Unless you have programming skills, there are no jobs for you. Even hooking is highly competitive here. We have some of the best trans escorts on the west coast, and they charge a lot.

>>8114630
I live in East Bay, too, and I don't feel safe here or in SF. A lot of my hardcore SJW friends and even just normie or NEET trans acquaintances have been harassed by techbros and the last bastions of racists and shitheads who live here. The politicians here don't care about anything, just money and admiration, but they do nothing to earn our trust. Berkeley is the best place to be at the moment.
>>
>>8112122
>I'm gonna run away to the big city where no one gives a shit and I won't give a shit about myself so I win
>my foolproof plan I thought of
>don't tell me it's half asset
If you were as smart as you think you are you would move to a medium/large town and live in a cheap rent area and get an easy job.

>$1000
You got your bills anon, if you're parents were paying your cat insurance you really are an insufferable shit. Have fun getting cut off then dying of aids

>stay at homeless shelters and sell my body for sex

i was homeless for 3 months last year and the homeless shelters are overflowing with blacks and mexicans who try to gang rape you in the shower.
try spending a night in your local homeless shelter (where you live now) just so you can see what it is like, what the rules are, and if it is something you will want to do for an extended period of time.
i did it one night and i said never again.
i was lucky that it was summer and i slept in the park during the day and walked around all night (the cops won't let you sleep at night and the parks will turn on the sprinklers at night if you try to sleep there.)
also, men don't pay for sex anymore now that porn is so readily available on the internet and tinder has so many young cheap sluts giving it away for free.
san francisco is cold, even in the summer, and especially rainy this year.
you will freeze your ass off.
your best chance is to find someone who will let you sleep on their sofa:

good luck
and don't fuck it up!

It is still easier than getting a job when you are a filthy, smelly, homeless person, trust me, I've been there.
