Ye, it's more this. I would rather be alone with a guy and get to know him or be with a group of girls. I get really quiet and I feel smaller and less tough than all of them, but I don't feel bad about not being strong or anything, and I often get a lot of caring attention (free coats, offered to have my bag taken, doors held open, asked if I'm ok, told I look nice).
