Not in any way or form true. If by trap you mean short, cute, feminine boy/trans girl who can perfectly pass as a girl (like pic related), and not some six foot tall sissy with broad shoulders and five o'clock shadow, then I'd have to say, from my personal assessment, irl traps are utterly beloved. People, particularly girls, love perfect gender bending, it's only looked down upon if they're ugly/unpassable.
