I asked in another thread but I think I'll probably be a bit luckier here. I have a bad ingrown hair problem in my legs and butt, and I need to know if HRT would do something about it.
My plan is starting finasteride, cypro and progynova.
>>
>>8000634
Yes you are getting memed. It's unreasonably low dosage.
>>
>>8000677
So what should I do? What can I do to convince my endocrin to increase the dosage? Why has my endocrin prescribed me such a low dosage?
>>
Butt girl from last thread, doing a test, may also pass out soon lol >>7995351

Experiment Mar 28 2017

Shove a 5mg melatonin pill up the butt and see how fast/strong the effects are compared to normal (oral) which takes effect after 20-30 minutes..

~5 Minutes in: Alredy feeling the effects, doubt placebo.

~10 Minutes Drowsy, becoming difficult to type.

Can you provide some? I have a few on my own, but any more will help.

>He may be trying to mimic female puberty. lol
I believe he is, considering he told me that "these dosages should result in an estrogen level similar to that of females during puberty" after I questioned him on the dosage. I'm paraphrasing, but you get the idea.
>>
>hrt 16 months

ahg i have the sam e problem as you , I am only 7 months on hrt and my leg hair is still anoyingly thick and i have to shave every second day
. Hrt will help eventually by turning the thick terminal hairs into light thin velas hairs like cis females have, and you wont have to shave as much.

Unfortantly the only solution right now while you wait is to squeeze and pluck those hairs out, and exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate

Also Dutasteride would be better for body hair reduction than Fin

i wonder though, if you take estradiol valerate through the butt, will it be able to be efficiently matabalised? when its taken orally the liver matablises it, and when its injected muscle tissue matabalises it. but if its going straight into the blood will it even be able to be converted into estradiol efficiently?
>>
>>8001678
Well that goes back to my post in the last thread, reposting;

---

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rectal_administration
>A drug that is administered rectally will in general (depending on the drug) have a faster onset, higher bioavailability, shorter peak, and shorter duration than the oral route.
>..the rectal route bypasses around two thirds of the first-pass metabolism..

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_pass_effect
>..is a phenomenon of drug metabolism whereby the concentration of a drug is greatly reduced before it reaches the systemic circulation.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prodrug
>Inactive prodrugs are pharmacologically inactive medications that are metabolized into an active form within the body.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estradiol_valerate
>Upon ingestion, regardless of the route of administration, estradiol valerate behaves as a prodrug via cleavage by esterases into estradiol and the natural fatty acid valeric acid.
>This cleavage occurs not only in the liver, but also in the blood and in tissues..

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Route_of_administration
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bond_cleavage

---

And that's what I'm currently putting my faith in, and the melatonin experiment yesterday to test the uptake of drugs from a 'normal' pill back there lol.

My simple understanding of estradiol valerate is that it's just estradiol combined with a 'salt', the valerate, which needs to be removed to make it active, and this separation can happen almost anywhere in the body, the first pass in the liver just greatly destroys the active ingredient as well.

More anecdotal reading reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/asktransgender/comments/1wnmt9/estradiol_valerate_vs_estradiol_hemihydrate_is/

Also some other stuff/research I mentioned in the other thread;

Cis woman being told to take their (oral) progynova vaginally as it works better.

During this research I also found out progestogen is best taken vaginally, so I guess that too would work fine rectally too, though I'm not taking that atm as I'm currenty on cypro..

Is it safe to eat potassium-high foods when you take bica ?
Potassium-danger is limited to spiro ?
>>
>>8000634
Holy fucking shit
That's hilarious
>>

Shoud i use just pill (0.3-0.5 oestrogen) for couple of weeks ? I may have oestrofem in 2-3 months..
>>
>>8000944
What had you been on until then? How did he not change your regimen after repeated blood tests showed no improvement at all in that time (assuming you even got blood tests then). "Quack" is right.

>only see results on 300mg of spiro
See, this is why spiro is shit and it's frustrating why cypro isn't FDA approved. A lot of people have to take unreasonably high dosages to get positive effects (plus even worse side effects).

I'd order some HRT yourself in case he stops giving you what you need. That and get in touch with another endocrinologist as quickly as possible, hopefully fast enough that if he does reduce your dosage you can just take more than you're supposed to and not have it run out before your new endo replaces it.
>>
>>8000634
I mean, there's merit in the basic idea of replicating a normal female puberty, but not if you're already like 10 years late on starting it and only have a limited amount of possible growth left (and also need to get rid of your masculine features as quickly as possible).

Cross referencing this >>8005483

What the fuck is with those numbers?
>>
How am I supposed to determine what an effective dose is for bica? Also what are my options on changing it even, splitting these pills is hard as fuck, unlike cypro. I just started and have been doing 50mg ever other day, which feels like too much to start on but idk what else to do.
>>
>>8007651
Bica has a 7 day half life, you can take one every 2 days just fine. No need to split if it's difficult.
25mg is perfect to start with.
>>
>>8007624
wow, bica should not effect testosterone levels as it only blocks receptors and does nothing to lower T.

But those test results show super fucking high T, its even are higher than healthy male range. LH is also high so it implies that estrogen level is not high enough for there to be testosterone suppression.

Obviously a fem-boy, but fucking hell, high T like that must be scary. maybe try taking some cypro? just to get your T lower
>>
>>8007657
Well that's nice. I knew about the long half life but wasn't sure if simply taking a higher dose less often would still have similar effects to taking a lesser dose regularly.
But still, is there a way to know the optimal dose for me other than feeling it out? What would I even be looking for that I could actually measure?
>>
>>8007778
>What would I even be looking for that I could actually measure?
Body hair disappearing, decrease in muscle mass, softer skin, becoming more cute :3
>>
I know this is in the opposite direction of 90% of the people that hang out in this thread, but has anyone done testasterone cream/subdermal pellets? How easy is it to convince your doctor to put you on those, versus the injections I'm on now? How much more expensive are they?
>>
>>8006220
So can someone answer my question please? Hard to find info on this.
>>
>>8007719
>>8007624
Because bica is an antiandrogen, T does not get used so it keeps building up, leading to higher T levels. Eventually some of it will aromatise into estrogen, leading to slightly elevated estradiol levels also. It's all normal, don't worry.

Guys... I'm living 9 hours away from home and I only see my family every couple of months.

I've heard of people starting HRT but not going all the way so as to keep up appearances around their family as their birth sex.

How do I manage this situation? I imagine going cold turkey ~2 weeks before I see family is going to fuck up my body chemistry immensely and may not even make much of a difference...

sorry long post
>>
Since cypro has a 40 hour half-life shouldn't you take your cypro every other day?
>>
>>8008702
i don't see what you are after
taking hrt for a prolonged period of time is going to alter your appearance, in some aspects permanently
stopping for a few days is not going to reverse all changes done in months
hrt is an all or nothing deal, either you take all the changes, or you take nothing, there is no middle ground
what people do to hide their appearance changing is wearing baggy clothes to conceal breast growth or in worst case scenario cut their hair (but a "manbun" would probably suffice)
however the changes can be quite drastic so people who don't see you regularly will likely notice something

i've been getting morning wood and random erections(like, an erection while trying to tuck, ones throughout the day, etc) since I ran out of spiro last week and its triggering the shit out of me, i'm half way tempted to take a pair of scissors to it

I started HRT in March of 2014, so ive been on for 3 years mostly consistently

Should I self med? If I continue with him but change something in what I take will he notice with the blood test? I can't completely ditch him since we need to be seen by a doctor in Canada but getting another one could take months.

I switched to bicalutamide a few months ago, and I'm not really enjoing getting my erections back.

I was thinking that maybe I would continue bicalutamide, but add like 12.5g cypro to my daily dose.

Are you in the US? Because cyproterone isn't fda approved.

Maybe research bicalutamide, and then hit him up - it's much better tolerated by the liver, and has none of the side effects of spironolactone.

Progesterone is a meme from my understanding - hopefully someone here can refute me if that's not the case.

especially if you are DIY. Doctors ususally advise against excessive drinking on cypro, and conduct regular blood tests to monitor liver function.

>>8019284
They're in the brand name packaging, and they work. So, i'm gonna say no.

>>8019782
Bicalutamide has a long half life, and it takes about a week to build up effectivre concentrations in the blood. So it's too late to tell now.

There is conflicting advice on dosages. Personally, I take a 150mg tablet every two days (and inject 10mg oestradiol valerate /week). A lot of people would say that that's too much bicalutamide. Most doctors prescribe 50mg/ day, from what i've heard (and these are people who are on oestrogen).

Taking bicalutamide by itself, it's inevitable that your endocrine system will adjust to what it sees as a defficiency in sex hormones, by producing more testosterone than a healthy male would. Whereas the opposite effect is seen in people taking oestrogen - their testosterone production decreases.

For this reason, it is possible that a larger dose would be necessary for you. Bicalutamide basically works by competing with testosterone/dihydrotestosterone at the receptor.

I have a question that I've been thinking about lately.
In which case the hormones (MtF) would give more effect on face and body:
If you start chubby and in time gradually lose weight.
Or if you start thin and in time gradually gain weight.
I feel like it would affect it, but I don't have enough knowledge to figure out how.
>>
>>8020804
I would say the second option is right, because as a man, you build up the fat normally on the waist, losing it wont magically place it somewhere else, because, as you said, you lose it, but if you gain it, estrogen is more likely to place it on face and tits/hips/whatever.
>>
>>8020822
It may sound stupid, but won't it redistribute the fat you already have somehow?
>>
>>8020833
It will, but its slower, because the way it would work is redistributing by locating the fat you eat and losing the one you already have, kind of an "exchange", I guess
>>
>>8020845
Not that anon but would it be a sign that your E is low if your fat likes to go to your stomach?
>>
>>8020859

>>
>>8000465
I have a question somewhat related. I've had an orchiectomy. Inguinal route. So apart from having a empty flappy scrotum and two 1.5 inch scars on my pubic area above my pens. It's pretty fucking obvious something happen to my balls. My question is if I see a new doctor (I moved) what are the chances he'll check my balls and if he does do you think he'll buy me saying oh I had a swimming accident at school. I don't really care about hrt anymore cause a majority of my femanization came from me taking t blockers and now my orch. I notice estrogen doesn't do much(havent takin in months) and honestly have no problems passing as a really feminie emo boy with long hair or a really butch lesbian. Where I live it's easier this way plus I could care less about gender pronouns or cloths. I just had body dysmorphia
>>
>>8020880
Well you still need some hormones to not fuck up your health, especially if you also take t blockers.
Just pick whether you want to stay more manly and take testosterone or more feminine and take estrogen.
Maybe someone could give you a more knowledgable answer though.

estradiol isn't too effective without an antiandrogen. I think a lot of people take 4-6 mg per day.

Because estrofem is just straight estradiol, rather than a prodrug (like estradiol valerate), it has quite a short biological half life, so most people taking it split their dose evenly across the day.

If your parents are paying for the pills, I'd say probably just go ahead. Taking estrogen will cause your body to start downregulating testostorone production after a few weeks. So it's good all round.

I'd say 2-3 pills, sublingually (because it's estrofem), spread evenly throughout the day.

Im biased towards a high dose of oestrogen, because I'm in a rush to stunt my longitudinal growth as much as possible.

will your parents adopt me

IHP doesn't require a signature. You can choose between {no signature, no tracking} and {signature, tracking}, at least for US shipments.

whats the word on injections? ive been on hrt for years and years but my doctor's never said anything about them. whats the benefit over pills?

seems odd to not start on 50mg, still 6 months might not be enough time to kill erections, my T was nuked after 2 months on cypro and i still get bonners when i need to pee occasionally at 7 months.

My semen is completely clear also, so maybe use that as an indicator aswell
>>
>>8034008

i started at 25mg but im 110 lbs and my cum is clear with total change in libido and no random boners so idk

also chest hair really really reduced already
>>
>>8033474
100mg spiro, and 2mg estrofem are both low dosages, its normal to move to full dosages after a month or two. I myself went from 2mg to 4mg sublingual estrofem after just two weeks lol.

Also good move with switching to cypro
>>
>>8034013
No i mean its odd to not start high and then reduce. 25mg and 50mg are both standard doses. Normally you would start at a standard dose of cypro and then lower as your T levels dropped and production is damaged

As long as you are on decent meds, and your levels are good, I think around 2 months you will look weaker and thinner from muscle atrophy, then around 6-8 months your face will start to look kind of uncanny from fat redistribution

Lowers your T, which I believe means there is less T that can be converted to DHT, so in a way it does lower DHT. However I did hear from an anon that its a good idea to take Fin or Duta to block DHT while on cypro.

fatty here, should i start losing weight before hrt or use the excess fat for megamilks before i starve myself?
>>
>>8038287
losing weight is more than just starving yourself.
if you really want to lose it and keep it off you have to make changes to your lifestyle.
in which case you should start now.
i don't know what you mean by megamilks.
are you talking about breasts?
fat transplants may not be that great for enlarging breasts, as compared to silicon because they can get lumpy and relocate.
maybe talk to a physician.
regardless, you are still going to have plenty of fat, even if you start dieting now.
>>
>>8038328
does hrt not shift your fat deposits naturally?
>>
>>8038437
not as quickly or as uniformly as you'd think.
if you have a spare tire pre-hrt you will still have one after.
belly fat, especially, tends to not redistribute.
you will get more on your hips and thighs.
your breasts will probably take a long time (several years) to get big and may not ever, depending on your genetics.
lots of transgirls have conetits after several years on hrt

I've been doing diy while I wait to see an endo cus I'm kinda old. I've been doing 3 months on 50mg cypro, 1mg finasteride, and 4mg estrofem (2mg first month)

I went to my gp and got some labs done, T looks good (30) and she said my E was very high, (1440) and said the normal was like 1000, though I think this on some kind of different scale than the refs I've used on here.

Am I doing any damage by having my E this high? Should I reduce to 3mg or something until I can talk to the endo?
>>
>>8042110
Well, as far as I know your main concern might be blood clots and liver damage. Long term damage? I'm not a doctor but possibly.

My personal advice is to alternate between 2 and 4mg per day if you're worried about it. Make sure you get to the endo as soon as you can though.
>>
>>8042155
I've been taking sublingually so the stress on my liver should be minimal, plus they did check my liver and said it looked good so idk. Its like a month tops till I can see the endo so I guess I'll just do what I've been doing.

Also I've been taking the 4 mg as two pills at once every day, should I be like, taking half in the morning and then half at night or something?

>>
>>8049096
Every form of AA will do well at minimizing body hair, just some do it better than others. Bica is the equivalent of cypro in theoretical strength, but they do different things, yet do the same.

With Cypro you're still going to have T, but it'll be nuked, but Bica will stop it from even binding which is pretty much negating it entirely for the most part. In femgen, some threads ago Anon's were discussing why bica does so amazingly at nuking hair, but I wouldn't bother changing medications if that's what you're trying to achieve. Cypro and Estrofem is going to give you the same response, the problem is that it takes so, *so* fucking long for it to happen. Body hair is like when losing weight; The stomach is the last place to lose weight... in hormones... the body hair is the last place to thin out... You wont see jack shit for like 6+ months, or even longer.

Compared to general body hair.
>>
>>8049145
Same as any other body hair. Sadly if your body hair is course, dark, thick, etc. then even on hormones you wont see an elimination of body hair. You'll be hairy forever.
Save up for laser, and get it done. Otherwise pay for good waxing and begin going at it so you can damage the roots long term and wind up turning them into a vellus hair.

I have dark thick body hair like you, worse most likely, and I've been tweezing my knee for about 6+ months now just because of boredom and the hairs on my knee have turned very light and thin that I have issues seeing them.

Even a hairy man man can get vellus hairs if he waxes enough. Time to start waxing Anon.
>>
>>8049245
I don't know how to wax.

What stuff do I need to get anon? Is it fairly expensive?
>>
>>8042320
Of course it's possible. You need to refer yourself to a gender clinic but unfortunately, the wait times are stupidly long. Buy online and self medicate until you can get blood tests from either the GIC or your GP and then work on getting prescribed hormones from them
>>
>>8049699
Sugarwax is the best you can get.
Literally google.
If you ever wax and it's difficult in the sense most of your hairs aren't pulling out; Let them grow a bit longer (1cm or so) and if it's not pulling, then either your wax isn't good enough, or you should apply baby powder to the part you're waxing (Baby powder dries the hairs so it makes it easier to grip on them and yank them out, since oils can make the wax not bind good enough)
>>
>>8049699
>>8049751
There are also IPL laser home devices. It takes approximately the same time as waxing, but it isn't messy and does not hurt. I was very happy with the results before I got my hair lasered permanently. If you have black hair and white skin, IPL home devices might be best for you.
>>
>>8049751
does waxing hurt more than an epilator? I sometimes i epilate my leg hair but its super painful.
>>
>>8050067
I've waxed before and the only painful thing is afterwards if you do some areas poorly there are ingrown hairs everywhere.
>>
>>8050040
I always hear they do fucking nothing. Did you really have a good experience with it? It's just so expensive to risk it...
>>
>>8050468
I used a Philips Lumea and had good experiences. Maybe it was because of my dark hair and white skin color (perfect combination for IPL to work).
>>
>>8050605
How do you like aim and stuff?

I have the same hair type.
>>
>>8050645
It's very easy since the laser cannot be activated unless you press the device on your skin. There is a small lamp that lights up green, when the laser is ready to go.
It's as easy as it can get. You should buy special protection glasses, though, to make super sure that your eyes will not get hurt under any circumstances. These glasses are cheap.

I was thinking of getting this one:

Hello. I've been in 200mg spironolactone and 4mg oral valerate for about 6 months, but I just recently changed to 50mg cypro last week.

So it's been around a week of cypro and since yesterday i've been feeling the muscles of my arms like... weird? Like they are very veeery sore and weak even though I did literally no exercise with them.

But yeah, muscle soreness
Should I worry?
>>
>>8050855
Probably muscle atrophy from lack of testosterone.
>>
>>8050867
That would be amazing. I just don't understand why I'm getting them with cypro when I've been on spiro for half a year.

I know cypro is stronger but wow
>>
Does anyone have an epilator they would recommend? I'd rather spent $50 than $200 for the laser.
>>
>>8035327
mine is lower, my endo said it's fine as long as it doesn't go any lower
0.4 nmol/l or something like that
>>
>>8050855
>>8050872
This isn't necessarily a good thing, keep an eye out. If you begin sleeping like 12+ hours or whatever, that you feel you have no energy for anything, that's too much testosterone gone.
>>
>>8051298
I see. To be honest I always could easily sleep 12 hours everyday, I just don't because I stay up late on the PC and then I wake up early for work. But if I had the opportunity I could always sleep indifinitely. It's gonna be hard to keep track off.

Regardless, I'm going to lower to 25mg in 2 weeks, just to be safe. Thanks for the input.
>>
What would you say are the symptoms of low hormones (both T and E)?

I'm currently taking 50mg cypro and 2 of e, but I'm having horrible mood and sleeping problems, and already had a hot flash.
>>
How can I get blood tests here in the US without parents knowing?
>>
>>8044861
Do you pass?
>>
>>8044861
Please post results when you get them
>>
>>8049245
I noticed that for me, the first areas to get a reduction in body hair from hrt are my butt and my knees. It might just be coincidence. I've been plucking eyebrow hairs for years and it doesn't seem to be changing it at all.

And I just got them!

>50mg Cypro (Procur) from Inhouse for 5 months. Was on Spiro 200mg for a long time before then
>6mg Estrofem taken sublingually, 2 in morning, 2 after work, 2 before bed

I fasted for 12 hours for the test which might explain why my E is below target range since last dose was 12 hours before, but I am SO happy that T is destroyed.

>do you pass?
Only FFS can save me so no but I do rarely get called ma'am maybe once a month.
>>
>>8051825
That's weird, I would expect the E to be way higher considering what you are taking.
>>
>>8051839
Same, I'll be upping it to 8mg just to be safe. I really should have gotten this done sooner because lower than ideal E levels probably hurt me in the long run.
>>
>>8042441
That s breast cancer, mate. See doctor.
>>
>>8051825
Where did you get your tests done if you don't mind me asking?
>>
>>8051870
Online I ordered test forms from
http://www.privatemdlabs.com/lp/Female_Hormone_Testing.php

And I took them to a local lab specified on the website. It was very easy, I would definitely recommend it. Also theres a 15% off coupon on this company's facebook page if you are interested in buying.
>>
>>8051879
oh, awesome. Thanks.
>>
Informed consent put me on 50 mg Spiro and two 2 mg estradiol a day to start and then checking levels after 2 months, does everything check out?
>>
>>8053438
das very low desupai

did they blood test you before?
>>
>>8053472
yeah but they said the results would be in a couple of days and prescribed me that

So I'm planning on starting DiY HRT until I can get to an IC clinic and I want to get a blood test done before starting. I'm thinking about getting one of these: http://www.privatemdlabs.com/lp/gender-reassignment-testing.php

I was gonna get the 66 dollar one which tests for Estradiol, but there's a 100 dollar one that tests for all types of Estrogen. Is there a difference?

Also, the 100 dollar one doesn't test for LH or FSH but the 66 dollar one does. Do I need them?
>>
>>8054355
Order what they linked. >>8051879
>>
So if you do it the legit way you need a therapist or something to write a letter to your endo before the endo agrees to do it. What does the letter say? "Anon is cool and good for hrt"? A full fancy letter with paragraphs and shit? Is it an actual letter or just an email?
>>
>>8055276
It's mostly "anon is trans, and the best solution for him right now is HRT"
>>
>>8051845
I take 4mg of Estrace (sublingual E) and I had the exact same level 12 hours after a dose. Nothing to worry about. According to the half-life charts I've seen, you can estimate you average estrogen by taking a blood test 12 hours after a dose, and then multiplying by 3.2. Or alternatively, you can do the test 1 hour later, and divide the value by 3.
>>
>>8055800
Ah thats pretty helpful, thank you!
>>
How long should I leave estrofem under my tongue, after a while it dissolves completely but there's some white residue in my saliva.
>>
On 6mg progy and my estrogen levels are still pretty low at 70pg ml. Im about a year in and ive tried patches, pills and without much success. I get the feeling my doctor will probably bump me up to 8mg but it just seems so high...

Anyone have any recommendations I can pass over to my doctor when I see her? Injections arent an option in the UK as far as I know and im not really up to diy sticking a needle in myself just to get my levels up right now.
>>
>>8055862
>it just seems so high
Why? Normal people need 10mg+ to get into good female ranges. You only start low to get your body used to it, and see if it causes negative effects.
>>
Is there any estimate for what I should be looking out for in terms of physical changes? i.e, after 2 months you should feel softer skin, after 3 months body hair decreases, etc.

I'm on 50mg Bicalutamide and 60mg Raloxifene but I'm looking to have a frame of window to see what I should expect from what just to keep me attentive on if things are actually working or my body has been rejecting everything or that I'm simply too old for anything to happen.

I heard that "after 1 month you should see things" but I don't know if that comes from people with a placebo effect because I'm about 40 days now and I'm seeing nothing, but hormone effects are slow and work in small subtle ways which is why I've been wanting to know what exactly to look for so that I may be attentive.

Raloxifene may be questionable to some for sure but it's still an estrogenic, but while I know what to look for I don't know what *time period* still.

Everything you see in pastebin's and such always comes down to "a year+" but I hear people constantly experiencing such effects under a year.
>>
>>8056240
Changes happens in different orders and at different times for everyone. There's a huge amount of factors and unknowns when it comes to HRT. A lot of it comes down to what dosages you're on, and what your body was like before HRT.

People also see their progress differently from each other. Some overexaggerate their changes, and others do the opposite. I've seen people talking about the C-cups they've had at 6 months, but in reality they're barely an A. It's hard to find real facts about this topic, because there's barely studies on transgender people and everyone's spreading misinformation.

A good example of this is people saying that you should treat HRT as a "second puberty" and stay on low doses for long periods of time. This is absolutely retarded and will make the process much longer than it should be. A grown man's body isn't a delicate machine that takes months to make changes, it will adapt to high sex hormones extremely quickly. Once you've blocked most of your T, you should be getting into female E ranges almost immediately. The only argument against this is " 'muh conetits" which is a meme that has nothing to do with how much E you have.
>>
>>8056190
Okie well thanks ill just go with what they say then im just a bit of a hypochondriac.
>>
>>8056190

>Normal people need 10mg+ to get into good female ranges.

Do you have a single fact to back that up? That's a ridiculously high dose.
>>
>>8056190
>Normal people
If by normal people you mean people hopped up on roids then maybe.
>>
>>8056936
It's what I've seen from the blood tests people post. I haven't seen a single person on 2/4/6 mg dosages be in ideal E ranges. I'll admit I don't know much about how the pills actually work, but if they all add a proportional amount of E it seems like 10mg is what the average person needs to be 200+ pg/ml.

>>8057357
If you were "hopped up on roids" you'd need less estrogen, not more.
>>
>>8057419
the survey on here a while back had most people on 4/6 mg
>>
>>8057431
>>8057419
now that I look, the survey results are at the start of the thread
>>
>>8057431

it doesn't have specific blood test values, but no one is going higher than 8mg, are you really assuming that all the respondants are ok staying below female range?
>>
>>8057617
Yes, because a lot of people here play it veeery safe and see their amount of estrogen as "amount of pills" instead of the actual levels in their blood. A lot also stop increasing once they're at the lower end of female E ranges instead of getting to the upper end, which results in faster feminization
>>
How estrogenic is 60mg of Raloxifene compared with 2mg of Estrofem? Would you need take Estrofem with it to stay within the female hormone range?
>>
>>8057928
I don't know the answer to the first half, but for the latter half you absolutely should take either or just because it would be useless to take them both at the same time.
Raloxifene and Estrogenics turns into a shitshow of simply not getting one or the other that it's basically just like taking a single one even if you down them both.

An accurate post, but I'm not sure what to be looking for, or more bluntly-- If my medication is even working.

Raloxifene doesn't bind to breasts, and I know breast development is the #1 thing to pretty much go off of; Sensitivity, puffs, etc. but since I don't have that, I have to go based off all the other stuff (Soft skin, slow hair growth, etc.) which takes an incredible amount of time usually that I don't know if I'm wasting time being on these meds or not because I can't tell if they're doing what they should.

My doctor says my hormone levels are fine but due to the nature of Bica + Ralox, the entirety of it even had him confused and having to ask around, but just because it's in my blood doesn't mean it's binding either since Bica doesn't nuke T, just stops it from binding (And theoritically as effective as cypro) where as Raloxifene (I think-- I could use some clarification here) is regular estrogen but with selective properties only
>>
I'm on cyproterone, estradiol, and dutasteride. My gf gets free birth control, with ethinyl estradiol and some type of progestin/progestogen/whatever it's called in it. If my endocrinologist won't give me enough estrogen can I reasonably start taking my girlfriend's birth control to boost my estrogen levels up a bit?
>>
>>8058062
I'm actually taking estrogen so this may be different, but my facial hair and body hair reduced really quickly within the first two months, it was like the first thing I noticed asides from chest pains. I was only 17 though and didn't have much man-hair to begin with though.
>>
Is anyone here on bicalutamide and raloxifene , and can vouch if it's safe to take for an extended period of time?
>>
How long can you take cyro and have the effects reversible?
>>
>>8058249

Just take another AA instead of cypro if you're concerned about the effects being irreversible.
>>
>>8058365
Bica won't kill my libido and I like bananas. What are my other options?
>>
What's the standard dose for Cypro, is 25mg too low? I'm gonna switch from 100mg Spiro 2mg Estrofem to 25mg Cypro 4mg Estrofem.
>>
>>8059218
50mg is usually the starting doseto really nuke T, but 25 should still work fine. Be sure to get your blood tested!
>>
do i need to be more careful with my diet when taking cypro? or will i be fine as long as i don't go crazy on the fast food?
>>
>>8059441
I am unaware of any need to change diet and have been on 50mg cypro since November, where are you reading this?

I'm not saying you're wrong, I've just never heard of it
>>
>>8059441
Make sure you take B12 supliments if it makes you feel lower
>>
>>8058194
>so this may be different

This does matter. I'm not as blessed as you are.

But 2 months is pretty early, the other report I heard was 6 months for leg hair beginning to be demolished.
>>
>>8058163
its not a good idea to take birth control, thats is synthetic estrogen shit. Just order estrofem online :)
>>
>>8061125
Yea exactly, the synthetic ethynal estradiol wants to give you blood clots. Ironically, MTF estrogen is safer than the estrogen that cis girls get.
