Yes, early transitioner implies that you transitioned at an early age, you can still refer to yourself as an attempted early transitioner though cara if you want. Or you can just start hrt now and still be a relatively early transitioner.

I too recognize myself as an early transitioner. When I was 10 I wanted to be a girl so I fapped in my sister's underwear which makes me both TruTrans and an early transitioner.

I don't think people should be mean, but I wouldn't consider myself early. Anorexia stunts growth during adolescence, but it isn't near as effective as blockers. If you couldn't get meds till after puberty was underway, you can't be early

Because I internally resent / feel disgust towards late transitioners even if I know they can't help that they were born in a time when it was impossible or much much harder to transition.

It is entirely wrong to consider yourself an early transitioner if all you did was try because it has nothing to do with whether you tried but whether transition started then. By transition, I mean either social or medical. For example, a trans girl who came out at 5 and changed her name, all IDs changed, moved to girl's clothes exclusively, and all the rest but started HRT at 18 is just as much an early transitioner as the savvy 13 year old who starts self-medding HRT in secret and can't transition socially until adulthood. In fact, supposing, there were a 10 year old cis boy boy who were forced to transition, they would be more "early transitioner" than an 11 year old who came out but got shutdown by her parents and never tried again until she was 22. Whether you tried does not matter one wink in whether you're an early transitioer. Those early transitioners who are elitists (an attitude probably shaped by narcissism and/or BDD) probably wouldn't even give you honorary trutrans status because they would say if you had really been trans, you would have found a way against all odds or killed yourself.

Of course, like some others have pointed out, there is a question for where the line is drawn on "trying." Wearing a family member's interior clothing is not trying while coming out to your parents is. However, in the case of someone like the 48 or maybe 49 year old anon who originally transitioned at 16 and was forcefully committed to a conversion program at around 19, that is a genuine early transitioner, not in the "At least I tried" category.
