Depends on how masculine you are. If you're masculine, you won't pass, and what you feel then will be a deep, soul-crushing despair. If you're fem, you'll pass and live in bliss. But regardless, the upside is a somewhat better baseline state since you're on the right hormones. You'll also have mood swings and heightened emotions in general (both happiness and sadness feel more intense, for example)

Somewhat. The body changes, mood swings,etc. are all as you expect. But a number of other, more socially-driven factors (coming out, acceptance, passing, romance, etc.) play a large role in how you feel as well.

My parents are not for this. I'm basically going to do this behind their back and by the time they notice it will be too late. The state I am in is pretty cool with it. I walk around with a purse all the time and no one seems to mind.

I was androgynous before HRT yet now I still look androgynous. I don't even look more fem, just ... younger.

Im 19, about to start, Ive been an athlete all my life so I'm sort of worried about shoulders. I've a fem face and wide hips so I should be fine. Am I the only one who feels it's extremely vain, and shallow in a way to be trans? I feel way more concerned with looks than I should and it annoys me.
