Do other trans people have a problem with self-perception? Like you never know if you look bad or good?
Like I for the most part look passable (don't get sir'd even if I wear men's clothes) but then from a certain angle or something I see my dad's ugly Celtic mug and it scares me.

Yes.
However, not to be that person, but I recently saw a family photo of a (cis) girl I've always crushed on, and she looked so much like her dad in that picture that it kinda killed the attraction. You may just be seeing regular genetics, fampai.

I've been getting fed such a message. I've routinely seen an orc in the mirror, yet some people around me react friendly in one way or another or another, and I know most are total bullshit that they just throw out for the sake of establishing themselves as nice people, so I don't know which one is actually a decent example to mention.
But, yeah, I've had a huge problem of this sort, I used to think I looked good as a guy, and early on en femme I used to think I looked good, I don't know what the fuck I was thinking, but I'm more lucid now.

Post a picture of yourself and we can help and vise versa.
I know I have this problem my gf constantly reassures me I look the same but I feel like I fluctuate so hard.
I didn't even want to go to the grocery store tonight because I felt like I looked so much like a dude. (In reality I don't even know.)

people seem to read me as male, last time i was read as female was a few months back and the dude apologised when he heard me speak
but i look and sound 100% female without debate or confusion to myself
