I dated a guy that was 12 years older than me when I was in college.
I liked that his body was muscular and hairy and that he was a top.
I also liked that he owned a home and had a stable job and had friends that he had known for a long time that we vacationed with in the summer.
He basically gave me a stable adult life without my having to do much except show up and get fucked.
He was a lot of fun to be around and he would cook me dinner after a long day at school.
He helped me find a job after I graduated.
I guess he was like the father I never had (my father died when I was young of cancer)
I liked that he was financially stable and he bought be things like a pair of ski boots and we could afford to travel when I had a three day weekend whereas my college friends were stuck at home because they had no money.
Ultimately we broke up because he cheated on me and I met a guy who was closer to my age who I really hit it off with who I am with to this day.

I do however end up mostly with older guys because I'm a fucking mess and end up with people who look after me financially.

If he looked like that, sounds pretty much ideal. I'd like to meet a guy that has his shit together but isn't 15+ years older. I'm definitely attracted to the maturity aspect of older guys, but obviously not all are though.
