I don't see how there can't be an overlap in both of these categories; wanting to be a girl, versus getting aroused at becoming a girl, there can be an overlap in hobbies such as art and video games. This doesn't mean shit. I did all the typical girl stuff growing up. Had barbies, mlp, petshops. Played tee party and dress up and always had stuffed animals all over my bed. I drew literally everywhere, always had a how to draw book with me. Took as many art classes as I could because I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. Always played with girls and got along with them better. Was usually the only "boy" who was invited to birthday parties. Being forced to be more of a "guy" in my teen years I always played video games, and did computer stuff because it was an escape from the real world that I still love to be involved in today after transitioning. Anime is amazing and without it I'd probably would've killed myself out of feeling alone. Despite all the previous stuff growing up, I still find attraction to both men and women simply because both have redeeming qualities about each way of life. It wasn't one thing, but multiple things over time. I didn't tell too many people that I came out, but it somehow still spread around my school. A couple teachers asked me about it, but more in a curious happy way, but this specific one was a Catholic nut. Believed that killing someone in a videogame was just as wrong as actually killing someone. She must've gotten wind of it because after she started accusing me of cheating, having my phone out when I didn't, and kept asking why I needed to have a pink laptop case on my laptop since it was a girls color. One day I bitched her out in front of the class, and when she called the principal to come down to escort me out she bitched her out even more. Ended up getting to leave the class early, and the principal even offered to let me stay in the library for the next couple of classes until she straightened her out.
