I think it's more about how easily it is to solve, not whether or not you can. I can solve all of those problems eventually, but they were too much of a pain, so I just answered the question. They never actually asked for the solution, just how hard it seems. I had some group Jeopardy at work, and nobody could figure out the square root of 25 or understand anything beyond algebra even with scratch paper, and some of these people where men who owned the company.

I grew up with older sisters and an absent father. One of my sisters was a tomboy and the other has talked about questioning her gender. But even though I'm stereotypically feminine, and my sisters would be classified as masculine according to these tests (the non questioning tomboy one even more so), there are still obvious dinctinctions between them and my mom, and me. It's something that's hard to describe so I can't blame the tests for not being able to catch it. It's also something you can only really recognize in private day to day life, because people have filters up in public. But there's a distinct difference in their reactions to ordinary every day things in private. Watching movies together you can feel the difference with their reactions and mine to various scenes. It's hard to explain. Maybe the difference between the mtf population on 4chan and the ftm population on tumblr is a presentation of it. It's probably a combination of socialization and hormones. Androgens and estrogens have cognitive effects; there's no denying that.

I don't know where I'm really going with this anymore. There's just a deeper difference between the genders than just the steretotypes. It's probably socialization/hornones because CAIS xy individuals live fine as women, but if you were to put every individual who displayed cross-gender stereotypes on cross-sex hormones, it would have to end being a disaster.
