It's honestly really stupid that I took it so seriously. It's something so small and probably nothing like you expected. I'll just post what I said about it in another thread from the archive.

That's not to say I thought that in the greater social context men aren't allowed to remove their unibrows. I knew that they were in fact encouraged to do so just as women are. I just felt I was expected not to by my parents.

It feels unfair. It's like I paid a toll for a bridge I didn't even cross. If you were scolded by your parents for crossdressing, at least you got to see what you look like in women's clothes before puberty took an axe to your face and body. I'll never know because the ship has sailed. Trying to put on women's clothes as a mutated freak feels terrible.
